Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
City is out of league cup. So that's potentially 3 games fewer in their schedule. Like us, they are only on target to finish in the top 8 in the CL. That means fewer CL games too. Plus they are likely to buy players in a transfer window (unlike us). Man City will finish the season strongly.
Patrick Evra recently described watching Arsenal play is like watching Netflix. You know there will be a next season. Arteta is Arsenal manager for 5 years now. 1 FA Cup and 2 Community Shields won. If he doesn't win trophies soon, I think the younger stars in his squad may be poached by Barca or Real Madrid and maybe even Bayern Munich |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Tbh as it now stands, don't think we are the best bet as our squad depth is too thin and weak
The moment Liverpool get hit with a flurry of injuries on different fronts we are screwed The only department which seems to have strength in depth currently is with regards to our GKs....with Alisson out for at least 6-8 weeks, Kelleher and Jaros appear to be doing a pretty good job holding the fort As for Pep, could not agree with you more bro Quote:

Liverpool tried so hard to get Amorin as Klopp's replacement.... at least now we know where his heart lies.

Liverpool v Brighton
SCORE PREDICTION: 3-1 |

Man U will end up spending a lot of money releasing and buying suitable players in this 3-4-3 system |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Poor 1st half. I think we are likely to drop Szobozslai somewhere in the 2nd half. He's not very effective today. Curtis Jones will probably take over

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Wow... amazing weekend. Arsenal and Man City both lost while we came back from behind. Once Salah cuts in to his left, the bazooka shot is always on. Good to see Conor Bradley back from injury too. Have to manage Curtis Jones's minutes too. I wonder how long it will be before Elliot is back.

Big win that, big day yesterday for LFC all-round!
Winning games like last night is huge, winning ugly is what wins you titles. Can't say it's pivotal this early in the season but every matchday is significant in this league The first hour was a tough watch though, Brighton played the game at 100MPH and we just couldn't cope. Our midfield 3, Szobo and Mac especially, were a shambles. Grav improved in the last 30 when Jones, then Endo came on I'd give a shout out to Endo for last night....we all know his limitations but he's a wholehearted player who gives you everything, I thought he played really well when he came on Salah’s goal was sublime and Joe Gomez was outstanding in that second half. Under Klopp it would have been Quansah coming on for Konate. Also Jones looking like a solid player under Slot Credit to Arne who got all his subs spot on. Managing the Robbo situation very well too, good to see we can count on Kostas when needed and Arne has helped improve his game this season. Oh and hope Konate is okay That loss against Nottingham Forest don't look too bad now as they are 3rd in the table currently |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Now if our owners have anything about them we'll invest in January
Think City and Arsenal are there for the taking this season Surely Edwards, Hughes, FSG or whoever is meant to be *********** running this club can see that a few quality additions in January and we can win this PL. We've given ourselves a great platform and City don't look as invincible, right now anyway, but our current squad as it is will not go the distance. It's really down to if Edwards, Hughes & FSG want to win the title as much as Slot, the players and the supporters do. Simple as. |

First half we could easily be 3-0 down. Haaland had many good chances. Bournemouth keeper was having the game of his life. Really good weekend. |

Dreamland Liverpool 4 - 0 Bayer Leverkusen.
Perfect 12 points. Hope enough to auto qualify. |

Only Aston Villa can have perfect 12 points. They play Club Brugge tonight and their goalkeeper is Simon Mignolet. Even though he feels like he's from many generations before, he's only 36 years old. Villa will then fly back from Belgium to play us on Sunday morning at 4 am. Given that we played 1 day earlier and they need to spend 1 day coming back, we have 2 more rest days than them. Hopefully will translate to a good result on Sunday. We are being linked to Tchouameni again. Real Madrid may be selling this defensive midfielder in order to buy Rodri. If we buy him and if Man City loses Rodri, that would be perfect. Highly unlikely though. |
