If any one tries to tell us Liverpool fans to stay humble, I will tell them straight we are only interested in staying hungry. We don't even talk too much about the gap in points between Arsenal and us.

On a side note, I saw this question on social media. Guys, do you think Alonso regrets not taking on the Liverpool manager job? Supposedly he rejected it. Given how we are leading in the PL and CL without any major signing, the quality in our squad is already there. He doesn't have to tweak too much in order to continue to achieve success as the Liverpool manager

Imo, I din think Alonso will be successful in Anfield. He will mess up the team

Arne Slot a low key guy play the team with strength rather than messing up.

Just like Paisley or Shankly, two low key Managers who went on to be legends.

Klopp started all these rebuilding and Liverpool 2.0 is ready.

Ya, Klopp rebuilt before he suddenly left. If Klopp didn't announce his departure so early, we may have won 4 trophies last season. The team seemed lost after he said he wishes to leave. David Moyes dismantled the Man U team he inherited and they are still recovering from that poor decision.

How do you find this photo guys? The Dutch are excited by Gravenbech's improvement this season. They finally found the next Gullit. In Gakpo, they think they found the next Frank Rijkkard

Ryan Gravenbach looks good. Still young and can improve further.

Slot been Dutch should be good to guide him and also Cody Gakpo.

Ya. Gakpo and Gravenbach are good and still improving. The sky's the limit although I think our all time best Dutch player will still be VVD. 2nd best for me will be Kuyt.

What a game to lose 4th round of FA Cup.

I think Slot did the right thing to keep the big guns at home instead of flying.

Well next will be merseyside derby which is physical game.

If can get 3 points will stretch lead to 9 points.

We don’t have the squad to push for the quad. We just learnt that in case there was any doubt.

Poor performance and shows that some of the players aren't really up to the standard.

Quansah has gone backwards and I never feel like Nunez is going to score a goal. Elliott had a good chance to step up last night but he did nothing, actually even worse, played volleyball. Chiesa was poor and Diaz looks flat at the moment

Endo had another good game last night though. About the only player who comes out of this game with any credit along with Kelleher.

The Gomez injury is the only thing that concerns me considering the fixtures coming up in the next two weeks.

All jokes aside, Liverpool football club have been beaten by the team bottom of the championship. Congratulations Plymouth

The magic of the FA Cup

These are our next 5 games (all in the league). Some real tough ties coming up...

Everton (a)
Wolves (h)
Aston Villa (a)
Manchester City (a)
Newcastle Utd (h)

These 5 league games in the next 15 days are going to be so much more important than last night's result at the end of the day.

Arne Slot was right in his team selection albeit Curtis Jones should have come on for Harvey Elliott.

If can get 15 points out of these 5 games then will be great.

I will be happy with 13 points.

Jones is injured.

Anyway, we go again. Just that I don't see Chiesa playing again this season. I don't think he can displace Nunez, Salah, Jota, Gakpo and Diaz. Won't even make the bench

Steady on bro

Let's take it game by game

Fingers crossed we get them precious 3 points in the very final Derby at Goodison tomorrow

Oh, ok thanks for the info bro

Actually was thinking about that disaster Plymouth match again and it seems to me that our road to ruin started the moment Gomez got injured at such an early stage making Endo move backwards into defence from midfield. The balance was gone and the rest was an awful afternoon in Devon

That said not taking anything away from Plymouth, congrats to them once again and hope they enjoy their trip to the Etihad next

The talk in England is Arne Slot got punished for disrespecting Plymouth. Top of Premier League lost to bottom of Championship. Can't be bothered as we have bigger goals. We need to avoid injuries. Chiesa is sibeh jialat right in this match right? I think we may sell him.

Apparently Liverpool will only play 4 matches in March as a result of these 5 games. Villa's match in Feb was pushed up from March due to Caraboa Cup final. Everton's match was delayed due to heavy snow 2 months back.

March we have Champion League knockout 1st leg, then Southampton, Chamion League Knockout match 2nd leg, then Caraboa cup final before the international break. I guess Arne Slot won't ask his players to fake injury to skip the international break. Something Real Madrid will do

Man City lost to Real Madrid in the CL playoff first match with the returning match in Bernabeu. Tough to overcome RM at home.

Hope MC goes all out.

Then will play Liverpool for PL. Before that MC will play Newcastle at home this weekend. Hope they really tired.

Case of 2 points dropped versus 1 point gained. Too bad Liverpool cannot hold on to finish with the 1 goal lead.

Well 7 points lead over second place and hope all the best.

Everton had been transformed ever since Moyes back as manager.

Jones and Slot red card.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Damn fed up with TAA. He just pumped long balls as a defensive move. Not how we played. With time running out, I am hoping he will keep possession and let time run out. By clearing long balls, we return possession to Everton and inviting them to attack again. Towards the end, we are panicking.

Arne Slot may have been shown a red card. The match ended in a farce. The referee lost control ... of himself

Lastly... bloody hell. Got so much extra time meh? 97th min should end even with the extra time injury

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Exactly the game I feared it would be and hoped it wasn’t. I’d even say I believed we’d have learned lessons from last season's game, sadly flung away 2 points, flung away the chance to go 9 points clear

So many weak players out there last night who refused to stand up and be counted , physically terrible, the back 4 were not good. Why can we not learn the lesson of how Everton would approach the game?

Credit to Mac, Szobozlai and Salah though, they stood up and were counted while the rest looked quite scared. Curtis Jones real scouser but still a stupid red. And was that an aggressive handshake that got Slot a red?!

No doubt, Michael Oliver was every bit as bad or even worse than our team performance and that takes some doing!

Unfortunately the title race is alive and well thanks to our performance and Michael Oliver’s. I don’t ignore Oliver’s role in this result but I think we need to regain some control and in the majority of our performances, we could do with that instead of games being stretched and ragged it’s infuriating to drop points in this fashion

Very similar to the Newcastle and United games where we played poorly and somehow ended up leading, but still throwing it away. In those games, Slot ignored Endo and kept throwing on attackers for what reason only he knows. Likewise, Slot should have subbed Endo on to see this game out

Wouldn’t have been happy with a point before or after this game. Deflated and our run doesn’t get easier. It’ll take until Saturday for me to calm down over this game. Still in a good position, I just wish we’d help ourselves a little bit more at times, we allow games to get mental and that’s what cost us last season

Just have to move on now, dust ourselves off, ensure we beat Wolves, then the next 3 against Villa, City and Newcastle are huge
