That's funny ... But not all that uncommon actually. These guys from more developed countries thinks that places like hcm, Chang Ping etc are dirt cheap.

But then again, what's worse are these zeroes to heroes: total zeroes in their home country, lacking of any "game" or even financial wherewithal but then thinking AND acting like they're hot shit when out of country.

On Tuesday, the rate at the goldsmith shop opp ben thanh market is 16830 and inside market is 16860(16870 for $1000 note). So it's different of 30,000 for every one thousand sing dollars changed, and it's just 100m of extra walking. :p :D

Hi everyone.. I am in hcm and as mentioned by seniors to go explore on my own. Which I did. So here is the fr for this afternoon.
Went to v*** dong hotel...asked for body massage and the girl came in(of course girl la:p) quite tall about 1.63m. Looks wise I give her 7/10. She said she is 25 yes old. I just heard on the evening TV news that the Hong kong government has put Vietnam on an amber warning alert as a travel destination. That there is rioting and violence against all manners of foreign owned (Prc, Hong Kong, Taiwanese even Singaporean and Korean!) factories and operations without distinction whether actually PRC Chinese owned or not. And of course the target of the mob's ire should just be the PRC, which had erected a drilling platform on the disputed Paracel islands. Maannnn..!!!

What about you guys on the ground right there now? Do you feel threatened? Especially if you are Oriental?

May plan to go HCM (my 2nd times) from 19th June to 24th June (5 days) alone.
Btw am still a newbies. Have been following most of the post in forum by all dedicated seniors b4 going. They are all useful info esp for newbies like me.
My 1st trip was with some seniors. This time around going alone but will not mind if anyone interested to join. Will be staying in D1.

In other words, Mr. Alien, if you had employed MC's services, your expenditure would be 40k less (400K to the establishment + 300K tip for MC.) Well, 40k is not much but MC would have facilitated a better experience - better establishment, prettier girl, better attitude, better massage. Plus you might have also been in an SYT cafe and got a free xe om ride.
