I have confirmed my flight to Hanoi from 30th Dec. to 4th Jan.
I'll be staying 2 nights in Fortuna Hotel on 30th-31st Dec.
And I have book 2 nights in Novotel Ha Long on 1st-2nd Jan.

I will text you again towards my travel date to see if you are available to meet up in Hanoi.

I've reading the thread but haven't seen any mention of hi-end spa place, did you miss something? I'd appreciate if any pro can share some detail on clean, safe spa with pretty girls.

i'll be in Hanoi for the first time next week and stay in Movenpick hotel. Any KTV/Pub/Club type of place within walking distance?

btw, I'm curious about hotel policies here. If a hotel is not girl friendly, does it mean I cannot bring girl at ANY time, like 2pm or the restriction only apply at night?

hanoi no body massage like what get in BKK. if that is what u want, bkk is best for it, and dun try looking for this in hanoi, just simply go to bkk.

hanoi is also not very happening.. go hcm instead for more happenings.

Your hotel is at Ly Thuong Kiet Street. Take a compass, and walk in the East direction along the LTK street until u come to Hoa Binh Hotel. Go in and get ur massage (with happy ending).

if u hve lots of $$$ to spend, then just pop into Fortuna Hotel, it has massage (happy ending), KTV, Jackpot machines... but not walking distance.

Movenpick hotel also has jackpot machines room. It is good idea to pop in there once in a while, they will give u free chips to play, free drinks and food. Hoping that u get addicted to the Gambling and that is where they will make ur money (remember, the house ALWAYS wins!).

No choice, my job/life is very pathetic. I have no off day since a decade ago. Work 8 days a week, and only can look forward to year end leave. -Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal.

I try PM you again but your mailbox is full so I will type here instead. I will go to Sapa on 21st April and reach Hanoi only on Monday 25th April, staying only one night in hanoi and travel back on tuesday to singapore. I am hoping to see you on Monday to get to know you so that we can meet up again the next time I go to Hanoi (trying to arrange to go regularly if possible)

oasis is girl friendly is SCSC (sometimes can, sometimes cannot). I will call u.

Been to Halong before, not Sapa. I dun like cold places.
Yes, the freetourguides very interesting. I have not tried, but i think u should try and see if can hook some pretty uni girls!

Answers:

#1 if u cannot speak Viet, they may tell u US$15, if they say anything more than that, u just walk away lor.

#2 tips discussed seperately with service provider in room. If u cannot speak Viet, they will start with VND500,000. If they think u are very seasoned player, they will not even ask, u can tip anything between 100k(normal) to 200k (very generous).

#3 No choose gal. but if u give some tips to the guys that arrange girls for u, u can definitely avoid meeting a big aligator!
