There is nothing wrong with Liverpool beating Man.U or vice versa....but kindly refrain urself from calling other clubs names shall we ? This happens in lots of football forums and erupted in a volcanic flame war between rival fans. Since Sam in kind enuff to open a section for footy fans, lets keep it friendly eh ?

By the way, I'm a Manchester United fan.

Bro, flame war or words of insult are quite common, though not all is like that..

Calling names like manure is not my style too, and i have seen rival fans calling Liverfools which of cos only reflect poorly on them...

It does pissed me off at times but that is beyond my control... They can call all the names they like but 1 thing they can't do is change the fact...

LIVERPOOL IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB IN ENGLISH FOOTBALL!!!

YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!!!!

IMO, its better not to start (names calling). We wouldn't wan this section to close down just because of flame wars started by some childish names calling do we ? Anyway, its all up to individuals. If you've been to many footy forums, you should know that this sort of things can sometimes go otta hand pretty fast. Soon, you'll have a group of Man.U and Liverpool fans slanging each other's teams. Hopefully it wun happen here...

Look at Man U form and our form.

Anyway, I hope for the best outcome.

mayb i m biased..mayb i m a football romantic..but i hope Pool can pull thru.... anyway Pool can perform exceptionally well against top team..if they hv the rite mentality...

but the tinkering by Benitez is really getting on my nerve........

Bro l3atu, Thank you for spending time to visit the REDs Supporters Thread.

Actually, this thread is for the REDs fans to post view and comments for their support of LFC. Of course in proccess, calling names of the opponents teams, ManU will not be the only one.

I believe no problems will start if our REDs fans do not post in ManU thread and start calling names like what U have mentioned.

I also do not see flame wars will start here as we might be on different grounds in our support of EPL Clubs but "Comrades" when we come to Bonking:D (Which the forum is all about).

Cheers,
Jadoo

A case of being over passionate for soccer fans. Gd luck to all Liverpool's fans for the coming match on Sunday. Lets hope the match is competitive in the spirit of sportsmanship. ;)

Unfortunately ever since Danny Murphy left (I considered him our lucky talisman against Man U becos twice Pool beat them, he was the scorer), L'pool has not beaten Man U....except for the FA Cup round..

Even if I'm a Man.U supporter, sometimes I myself can't help admiring Arsenal's beautiful passing or Liverpool's lethal finishing (That is when Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler at their peak) etc. Just stating my views and not purposely slamming Liverpool should not be a problem rite ? :p

Lethal finished, I think nowadays they need to increase goal mouth a few feet more before this group of strikers pool has can be considered lethal...but you are right about Arsenal passing game, thou i really miss those days of one touch passing of Pool too...for Man U, I feel they are one of the two teams that can really beat Chelsea to the title, sorry guys as much as i love Pool, got to be realistic...anyway with Petr Cech out of the picture for the whole season, I think Chelsea will be vulnerable at the back cos he is really the rock behind the defence....
