SBF is now so polluted that one can NOT rely on the veracity/good intent of any post as there are just too many traps being set all the time! Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
U have a point actually. Going back to hotels as an eg I have never had to pay extra to check in with my gal... either we check in together or she comes a day later. Just have to show her ID. Then along comes the newbies who gladly pay extras, spoil the market and now hotels are picking this up as a new trend (to charge extras for bringing gal).
That's why I wld rather the cheongers and angmohs go to BKK and spend their money there. But that would mean bad biz for u. Quote:

But I did notice 'mafia' in action twice outside my hotel. One was a loud guy threatening a Xe Om..and another was screaming at a roadside vendor for non payment of ' parking fees?'. Thus violent mafia is a reality. After that I no longer used wechat. It was a first for me but for future visits I will not use wechat. Its just too risky.:) |
Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Okay I will try wechat soon. Maybe zalo, too. And before the gal comes over, will ask her to take a selfie so that we don't waste each other's time.

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Only a fool would post photos of their real friends on a sex forum. Perhaps u might betray your friends for money. But most sensible human beings would not.
I already mentioned this before. My gal attended a mktg class and her first assignment was to create 5 different FB accts using fake pics. Only a fool with superficial knowledge of vn would actually think that photos frm FB are real. LOL. Quote:

Chill guys...
I'm not a clone, just that I seldom post. As the upcoming trip is near (13/4-16/4) , more information from you seniors would be helpful. And I appreciate the fact some do take some time off replying me. I will do my fair share of sharing my trip once I'm back or over there; ) Has booked bloom hotel in d1.. First time there, so sexited ;) |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Hi Mr hoian,
Sorry just side-tracked abit. Actually the thing abt fake fb account, there are tons of it. But there are always tell-tale signs if the fb account is real or faked. Eg. How much real posting is done, life pic with their friends doing some activities over a period of time. If there are tagged from friends photo showing them together is even better... there are just too many fb account which only post a few photo of self (usually heavy photoshop) without much historical events and life pic. these account are likely faked acct. Who will create fake fb acct and post fake photo and event for long time showing their friends in the friend list which also mean their friend in friend list are faked too.......unless he is a marvellous keyboard warrior Though nothing is 100% in the cyber world, but the probability of real fb acct higher if its has a long historical events with life pic.:) Just my observation. Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
i got the rate of 15,809 at HCMC airport (the one on your left side when clearing custom, the rate is better then the row of money changer directly outside)
for taxi, when I exit the airport, I turn left to the taxi stand and will only take vinasun or meilinh taxi. my taxi fare to my hotel is less then 100k. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Thanks for the note. That's general knowledge. I have been studying the use of FB by vietnamese for some time and they have made it into an art and I was wondering when FB themselves will catch on to it. They use it to sell cosmetics, cream and all kinds of products and they manage to get 1,000+ friends within weeks by using "sexy pics of themselves".
Unfortunately there are fools who think I ripped off photos of real ppl frm FB. Anyway its too long to explain...and I am still studying the trend. In VN things are just different (& more interesting) than anywhere else, with regards to copyright, social media etc. Quote:

I dont think newbies "gladly" pay extras.... Please anyone...correct me if i am wrong...It is a fact that there is a law forbidding vietnam women staying overnight in a hotel room with another man without a marriage certificate. some hotels seem to be able to bend this rule....2 stars and 3 stars but not all. Now so far..it seems to me...its all vague...read some reports..guys checking with hotel beforehand...and they say yes buy when bring girls there..still have to pay.. now as a newbie...lets say i did my work...ask the experienced chiongsters here...they said can..but when i go there...hotel says no...u cant... Can i blame the senior chiongster for giving me false information?? no...that would be unfair..Rules may have changed...he could speak the language... As a newbie...i would pay...yes...but not "gladly". Its more like...ok....next time....wont stay here. And since experienced hcmc chiongsters like u know the place well ....speak the language anyways...how is this gonna affect u? u guys know where to get cheap fucks...know the local scene....and dont wish to share...as u are afraid that newbies or tourists will spoil the market...fair enough.. but please stop writing like newbies are just all dumbasses....just cause we dont speak viet...dont know the place..... while we are on this...what would u suggest a newbie do if he finds that hotel wants to charge him extra?? Please....do teach us....or me.... |
Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Good find. :p
Btw can anyone tell me the Vietnamese fascination with frog leg porridge? Almost all the VN who comes to SG asks about eating this dish. I usually bring them to the one near Chinatown. Quote:

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Erm actually I dare not take the honour of "experienced hcmc chiongsters". That honour should go to professionals like MC who tests the merchandise for a living. For me, I just fly in for work, take some time off to study the culture and disturb the ladies... improve my vietnamese (i am just at basic level) etc. Apologies if i make it sound like newbies are "dumbass" but the fact is... they do impact the local scene and change it, usually for the worse.
I can't advise others what they should do when asked to pay extras for their gf. For me, I would threaten to move to another hotel (unless its super peak season like China golden weeks...hehe). :p Quote:

My tieng viet is beginner level. Just to amuse people only :) The challenge about going solo is no one to share fixed costs. Hence often have to rely on solo missions. That's where it becomes risky sometimes. But just take a gut feel and go along with it. We chat can be a starting point but never the mainstay. Overpriced and a lot of fakes like so many seniors here say. BTW I should be going again real soon. Miss the beef on tiles. |
