Since u setting up a tour agency, guess u need to check out more on border crossing and uniquely Cambodia.

The border crossing for Viet-Cam will close in the evening. I can't remember what time, should be 8pm till 8am. This is the reason why most buses leave PP or HCMC latest by 3 or 4pm and earliest 5 or 6am. If you dunno and unfortunately take the evening bus, u will have few options when the border closes. Either sleep uncomfortably in the bus or in the public or spend money on a hotel in the border. Even if the border works 24 hrs, I doubt the river crossing in Cambodia will be 24hrs. :D

My friend had a bad experience before. He took the 3pm bus but unfortunately, wasted 6 hours in the river crossing as it was a major holiday in Cambodia. When he reached the border, it was after 10pm... he suffered the whole night waiting for the border to reopen.

border closes at 8pm, opens at 6am, bus leaves at 12.30 midnight reach border at 7am++, not too sure about river crossing though, need to find out more info, anyway i dun hv my own buses yet, so right now i am just channelling everyone through the already established bus routes ;) thanks for your heads up

From HCMC to border, takes about 3 hrs. The whole trip from HCMC to PP will be about 6-7hrs. Bus leaves at 12.30am will not reach border at 7am unless the bus goes around HCMC a few times or driving at a super low speed. The distance from HCMC to border is less than 200km.

I think there is a strict speed limit of 40-50kmh on the Vietnam side but presumably no such speed limit on the Cambodian side.

Next week, I will be in HCM for 5 days, 3 days at work 2 days will be accompany my BX.

Recently, an old friend of mine (VB) had opened a shop selling food. I will try the food if it is good and will recommend anyone who is interested. The VB is very friendly and speak and write quite good English.

the bus reach border at 4am, passengers will sleep inside bus for 2hrs, driver will keep the A/C on.

Confusion and contradiction here. Player79 asking for comfortable bus, since you don't know the details but why will you recommended night bus?

1) Initially, you mentioned the bus will reach border at 7am++ and now 4am?

2) Hopefully, the old bus air con is in good condition but with a 3hrs stationary bus, about 20 people in the bus, how will it be comfortable?

3) The bus leaves HCMC at 12am instead of 12.30am.
