September
18 Porto (away)
October
3 Marseille (home)
24 Besiktas (away)
November
6 Besiktas (home)
28 Porto (home)
December
11 Marseille (away)

Well, Cisse will be extremely eager to prove it's wrong for Rafa to put him into abandon, don't think Zenden will be playing much though.
Expect to see those dirty tricks from Porto players on the pitch & hostile reception while we travel to Turkey.
Under Rafa,we are experts in two legs competitions, should top the group with ease.

I think our brother means it as two separate points. That portugese will resort to their tricks that would make a HK Kung Fu Movie stunt man proud, and that Traveling to Turkey will be a difficult trip as they are known for giving very hostile receptions to visiting teams.

Porto is from portugal, the turks are the team Besiktas. Turks fans are well-known to be quite fanatics, remembering 2 Leeds fans were stab when they played over there few years back.

Based on Liverpool recent excellent performance and the depth of the team. We should have no issue winning in the group state.

My prediction is

1. Liverpool
2. Porto
3. Marseille
4. Besiktas.

Porto was last year Portuguese Liga Champion, we shall not under estimate them.

Marseille, is last year French Ligue 1 runnerup. Toulouse is third ;)... hehe... so i guess we shall have no issue winning both games. Only tricky part is Zenden and Cisse is there, but i doubt if they can cause any damage to our current team....

Besiktas, heard is a turkish team. No much info on this team.

Bro Beck7777,
here are some of my opinion,

Native Liverpool Fans are very passionate fans, jus ike non-native Liverpool Fans. Sometimes passion can make one go mental when ones team is being abuse. Scousers are very nice ppl, warm , friendly but they are hard. Willing to take anything on , especially someone is taking a piss at liverpool. Over in UK, scousers are always deem as the rough, uneducated and poor people look down upon by others in UK,which i think they are not. Just because of perception and rumours set upon them, and with their passions, it makes them look bad. Look at the situation we got in Heysel and Hillsborough, every reds fans shld know that we are wrongly judged. However, i am afraid to say that there are defo a few black sheeps ard especially when they are pissed. And look at the Liverpool Born players in the league, how hard are they? Carra, Gerrard, Barton, Nolan, Phil Thompson and many others. They are passionate about football and nothing else.

Pls correct me if i am wrong....:D

Cheers

You are right! I understand and know they are 1 bunch of passionate fans..
And when emotional takes over, things can turn nasty, especially those so call black sheep...

Not only Liverpool fans, there are sure some black sheeps among any club fans...

Tough???

Porto isn't the same since Mourinho left them......
Marseille's "star" players are rejects who cannot make it in Liverpool's squad....
Bestikas only perform on home soil.....

Liverpool should not have any problems taking care of these teams at all :D
I have full confidence in this year's Liverpool team.

I think the major concern is Marseillle, Cisse will wanna prove something. Porto is still a good team without Moaninho. They are very consistent. As for the Turks... well remember that they have surprised many top teams of late. But we can depend on Rafa on not being overconfident going into matches :D
