Perhaps taking precautionary measures ba. Because what happened yesterday, some MLs are considering RTC for good. Some are still accepting bookings, but only from regulars or those with good records. Quite jialat from the look of things, till the dust settles.

I notice a few gals on white card hanging around for many months, even years.

If the purpose is to stamp out vice, why don't send them back earlier like, within at most a few weeks?

Those long-term white carders can still continue as normal, another arrest wouldn't seem to affect them ya?

Don't understand...

Or is it the nature of government bureaucracy? Where things just drag on and on... like when you apply for a public sector job, the period between the date of application submission and signing the offer letter can take over six months.

These white card holders aren't just hanging around. They assist investigations by providing information, maybe even serving as witnesses and "moles". The aim is to cut the head of the snake.

To charge and convict require a lot of evidence. And that takes time to collate.

Make sense now?

Witness maybe but moles? The MLs are openly saying they are on white card.
