LFC TV - JUST 11 MORE DAYS TO WAIT
Paul Eaton 09 September 2007

With the launch of LFC TV now just eleven days away, make sure you stay tuned to the official website over the next week when we'll be bringing you more information about the club's brand new channel.

Launching on September 20 on Setanta Sports, LFC TV will have every Anfield angle covered and will be bringing you closer to the Reds than ever before with exclusive interviews, news and analysis direct from the heart of the club.

Over the coming days we'll be revealing some of the programmes you'll be able to enjoy on LFC TV and speaking to those who have played instrumental roles in the creation of the brand new channel.

We'll also be introducing you to the three members of our presenting team and talking exclusively to each one as they discuss their hopes and ambitions for their new careers working for LFC TV.

It's already been an excellent season for the Reds with Rafael Benitez's men sitting on top of the Barclays Premier League, and you can rest assured that off the pitch the LFC TV staff are working around the clock to make sure you'll have a channel - as well as a football team - to be proud of in less than two weeks time.

Keep in touch with Liverpoolfc.tv each day over the next week for the latest news on the launch of the first dedicated channel for British football's most successful club.

Let's hope we'd be seeing more interesting inside stuff on StarHub Football Channels after that ... :D

They will,I remember I read it sometimes ago in TNP.
But for those who are still using the analogue set top box, they have to change for a digital one (pay $2 more every month) in order to watch these two channels.

Interesting interview from Peter, although I see it as speaking to Rafa as much as to the readers - about rotation, the type of footie we play.

Actually the Rob Styles cock up may have worked in our favour in the long run. Nothing more bonding and motivational than the feeling that the world is against you. I think both Scum and Chelski had that mentality when they won the last 2 titles. :D

CARRAGHER EYES POMPEY RETURN

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher could return to action against Portsmouth this weekend.

Carragher is back in light training after recovering from a rib injury he picked up at Sunderland last month.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez is remaining cautious over Carragher's fitness and will wait until the end of the week before deciding if he will feature at Fratton Park.

He told the club's official website: "We must be careful with Carra, and we will wait until the end of the week to see how well he is.

"He is running again and he will do more training and then maybe we can see if he has a chance to play at the weekend. At this moment, it's still too early to say."

Meanwhile, Benitez was delighted to see Steven Gerrard come through England's clash with Israel unscathed.

Gerrard, who is struggling with a broken toe he picked up last month, did not require a painkilling injection and he could feature against Portsmouth if he reports no ill effects from Wednesday's clash with Russia.

"Steven did not need an injection and the fact he played with no problems and did well is good news for England, but even better news for Liverpool, thinking about our game with Portsmouth," added Benitez.

well carra might be back for the portsmouth game.
