Hi Bros,

Making a solo virgin trip to HCM in the coming week. Hoping to get some good advice on stuff and keeping things at ideal market value. Would not mind meeting up with any bros if there are open gatherings.

I'm actually meeting one of the girls I fished in SG to probably bring me around and all. Not sure what to expect, would gladly welcome any advice.

Wanna try and pick up from the local scene if possible as well.

Not too long ago , I have gone to HCMC alone to meet up with some friends and suppliers . I have noticed how some seniors operated and why some think they are OKts and stuff . It was making me skeptical about the seniors and I did some research on my own to see how it is operated. While some are real people with real contact numbers and names while others aren't .

The problem is we won't know whether if there is an actual person hiding behind newly created nicknames claims they know this and that with nothing to back take claims with . No one actually met this so called "people" and I message them , they don't seem to reply bak to me .

Anyway , from what I gather this is how these people make use of unnoticing newbies .

They will post on the forum on how and where they go , typically around D1 districts and offering to look for kakis to chiong with and some are newbies like me around. Typically they will tell you they have bussiness or working in high places here in HCMC . Ranging from bussiness directors to owners of bussinesses.

For newbies like us , we are thinking ok , someone is offering to bring a lost sheep like me to paradise land which many claims with pictures like this. So nice of them.

They will meet us up somewhere in D1 where they stay and we will go for simple food like ban mi or just pho bho. This usually don't cost alot and they will typically offer to "pay" to show their generosity and how "rich" they are.

This is followed by bringing you to eye candy shops in the District 1 ranging from LD series to others. The services would typically include a pretty girl helping you to wash your hair and massage and digging your ear. They will then offer to be your translator and "pay" for you upfront and so called "share" the cost by splitting after. Most of the time , this senior would choose to have all the services and probably include the tip he gives to the girls into the "shared" cost so newbies would probably blindly pay more than what they need.

Next they would probably bring you to a bia om or ktv of their choice . Typically those that are found in the Ts's links and they will show you how pretty their choice of hostess and stuff are. Then they will tell you how they are going to split cost and he goes on to order drinks. Most of the time , the first few times he brings you out , he won't attempt to fleece you. After that they would probably try to order hard liqour and stuff to inflate the prices where they too probably have some arrangements to take back from the operators.

They will bring you for dinner ranging from no hand restaurants to herbal soups in various places . Typically , they are pretty transparent here and will share cost and stuff. This will line up for further fleecing ahead as they slowly gain your trust.

After dinner , they probably bring you around either to places like bbbj joints or Fj joints or even places where they offer take aways , typically they will tell you that they can get a good price for you and most of the time it is true they are able to get a good price for you and they are unlikely to do much on the price. This part would probably make you trust them even more .

Once you are happily released as the night arrives , they would proceed to either bring you to pubs or discos and some times even casinos. Most of the time this is where their main biz is. Many of these pubs they go to , they will try to order quite a few bottles of liqour and stuff and attempt to make you high and drunk in the name of having fun and making you enjoy . Chances are you will probably not be able to finish the amount of drinks you ordered and in most cases they will keep those bottles which can be either encashed or to be used for the next victim as a form of good will by showing their generosity in giving their liqour to you . The drinks paid per night on "sharing" would probably go from 2mil - 4mil and might be even higher. Most of the time you would probably be too high to even remember how much you paid and whether if you actually know how much you were fleeced.

Last to end of with , they are always willing payers for all theses services and if you are willing to follow them , then just pay for it . Thanks

Stupid people accuse H88 to be OKT. I do not think so from my personal trip with him.

1.5m Dong overnight KTV babe.
600,000 dong spend at KTV.
75,000 dong for 2 hour massage.
S$30 hotel room (huge room)
10,000 dong Saigon beer
20,000 dong tip to cafe gals. (1-2 hours)

This is unbeatable. No one can bring you around to get this type of low spending other than H88.

If those OKT in D1 can do similar or even 50% more expensive; it will be still incredible.

But I doubt they are sincere in helping Newbie. They only there to milk the Newbie.

i was in qtb yesterday and i notice that almost all salons on street n** were closed. today i passed on dbp and benny was also closed. that after most bars on hbt were raid. not sure what's going on lately in hcm but not going good :(

Bits of notes of my time in HCM this week:

Thursday:

Visited pubs in HoTung Mau and Ton That Dam street. Girls mistook me as a local guy therefore not friendly, more inclined to serve white guys or other Asians i.e Japanese, only I told them I’m not Vietnamese they only warm up to me.

Bar no. 1 didn’t serve me, only took order. I just order a bottle Heineken and watch the girls serving and getting lovey dovey with white guys. Left after finish my drink. Damage: 45k for 1 bottle Heineken.

Bar no.2, girls are average looking, some marginally look better. But girls are better attitude toward me. A leggy chick sat with me and accompanied me, spent some time here chatting and talked nonsense with other girls on duty. Damages: 375k for 3 bottles SM Lite and 3 lady drinks.

Friday:

Went to bar in Ton That Thep street. Again, girls were hesitant to serve me until I informed I’m not a local guy. Girls did chat with me briefly but then they were busy with one of their owns birthday celebration.

Girls are better looking, hotter, due to their ‘sexy’ uniform. Damage: 52k for 1 bottle Heineken.

Checked out a saloon at airport district in late evening. Place is open but they were wary of guys coming in. The madam asked some verification before I was allowed to choose girls. There were 5 to 6 girls available.

Choose a smiling girl and done the deed upstairs in a room. Acceptable service, no rush, and good attitude of the girl. :)

Damage: 800k in total for 1 pop! Tried to reason for lower price but not allow.:(

Saturday:

Head over to d7 wanted to try the blow and go shops, but upon arrive in afternoon, it was closed! Quick check at similar shops nearby also not open. Wonder I arrive at wrong timing or something going on?

Went over to another blow and go joint in other district. Price quoted was 400k, said it was for entrance and girl tips. I felt it’s too much, and asked to lower pricing but they won’t budge. So I made excuse not having enough money and ‘no go’ for me.

Must be a bad day.:( On my way home in cab, saw a man at pavement collapsed suddenly.:eek: His wife and 2 kids were trying to revive him. Gosh, hope he’s ok.

Please take note if I'm not wrong, the girls in KTV all have minimum target to meet on how many bottles they must drink. 6 years ago, I don't know about such orders from their management, I saw the girl pouring my beer on the floor secretly. I scolded the girl. Later when my friend's gf told me about their policy, I asked the mummy and manager come in. I told them if the gal cant drink or had enough, don't force them to drink in my room only. The manager still arrogant say this is their boss policy and cant help it. After listening to this, damn hot, I told the manager since boss policy got minimum, now I want both of you drink with me and my friends. Min I ctn each, If both of you cant finish I ctn each, I don't pay any cents and walk off. If we cant drink finish, we pay more. The mummy and manager keep giving excuses say this and that. Tired of their explanation, pay $ and walk off.

Kingdom, Avatar, Nice,,,ktv with big neon lights billboards are family ktv with no gals to accompany you...you are in Vietnam which is still communist country...legal decent biz places are lighted and illegal sleazy indecent biz places are always small entrance and no bright lights...only those who been there will know where...:)

you mentioned your virgin trip...dun think alone can go to local ktv or known as bia om to enjoy...you will not enjoy if you dun know speak Vietnamese...wrong place and expectations...:)

really dun think anyone venture out of D1 alone on virgin trip can enjoy...:p

dun need to be upset...just pay for the minimum amount ctn and dun need to drink...just go there enjoy be happy not go there to argue and upset...:)

I just brought some frens there last month...still there and only 200k...think you dun know the lobang even you have address...if you follow some seniors addresses which may be outdated...last month when I was there many places closed down but others re-open...just need to recce a bit...:p

my advice for newbies, dun bother to go such places without seniors who knew the place...totally waste of time and effort...taxi drivers will hit you with a big amount taking you round trip...:p
