It is funny to wait till one party to die in order to prove whether it is true love. How if one has short life span? Easier target to achieve. Does that mean we need to wait till we or out parent pass away then at that instance then can confirm and chop whether it is true love?

Many years ago, I used to feel the same way towards someone..

For a long time, it didn't matter to me that she was someone else's..
Just as long as she is happy..

14 years after, the love I once had for her no longer feels the same..
Yes, I still do hope she is happy but the way I felt for her is no longer there..

Had I really loved her? I would like to think so.. but I do not know for sure..

True love is usually possible if both of you are at a very young age.....As you grows older, you have a tendency to become more selfish. That is when true love becomes harder and harder to find. Coz your love for yourself usually supersede your love for others.

Other than that, most of the parents out there can give true love to their own kids.....:D:D:D

True love changes. Takes different shapes. But like all kinds of relationship things - requires effort on both sidesm

Personally I like her to be feminine, pleasant and not overbearing, a little blur/silly.. Lol, I like to play the pampering and doting role.. It's just me..

As for the looks department, as long as she is presentable, that is what I mean by 顺眼.. has got nothing to do with her physique, cup size etc.. Lol, in fact I prefer her not to be too pretty..

Drop dead gorgeous babe attracts a lot of attention.. And with attention comes the competition..

Finances, society standings, careers does bring along security..
It makes sense that girls prioritize these as prerequisites.

Maybe it is just me but I dislike feeling like a piece of meat dangling in the market when people are poking and prodding me trying to assess if I make the cut..

From a guy's perspective, I think it is important to hold back and not reveal one's true net worth unless I think she is the right person because it helps to distinguish those who are suitable from the ones who are not.. :)

6 conditions on on your dream gal!
u said it yourself haha
I would have a hard time if i am your matchmaker

as for the fear of her being a gold digger - just find a woman richer than u then problem solved but u wld be subjected to her conditions as well

terms n conditions always apply! both men n women are all looking for the best possible deal they can get

The love that starts at a very young age when we r still naive is pure pure puppy love.

When we getting more mature, we become more selfish & self-centered, calculate the profit & loss of everything including relationship, we dun wan to be a loser in any aspects of life.

Bro, I feel that some women may not that type pretty but somehow she has charisma look in her, and charisma won't faded with age. They have those charm in them that the more we look at her, the more shun yan she is, this type of woman I admire. Whereas, some women u may see her very pretty initially but belong to bu nai kan type.

Your standard of shun yan type maybe is someone like Linda Chung or Jeanette Aw which is quite out of reach?

But I believe when genuinely fall in love with someone, it is the feeling or chemistry that count most, at that time look may be secondary factor.

True love ah! True love! Does it exist? Maybe? I think just talk abt faithfulness before qualify to talk abt true love? How many of us can stay faithfulness with one & only love throughout your whole life???;)

Bro,
In my humble opinion, there are not true love, but there is true happiness....:)
True love is the the opposite of true bliss......LOVE is to give.......and give and give................... the rest is for its selfish reasons.....optimal love is give and take.......BUT...and is a big but.... you .have to find the right soul mate.....hahahaha..............:D
Seriously, if not found the soul mate....you end up giving more than you get back.

Cheers.

Hi Bro,

I don't think it is necessary for true love to prove itself through death.. On the contrary, would it not already be too late..?

It is not easier either if a person has a shorter life span.. Because departures are always rarely easy..

Lol, Sis playing as matchmaker. Sis, why not share with me what do you seek for in a guy so I can keep an eye out for you too.. ^^

Please do allow me to clarify a little on what I mean though..

Character Traits
Feminine = 小鸟依人, 小女人 types
At the end of the day, I would like that support she can lean and count on
Pleasant and not overbearing
An overbearing person in my opinion is someone who imposes his/her thoughts forcibly across.. Negotiating is fine though..
A little blur/silly
Lol, I like to play the pampering and doting role.. It's just me..
Presentable = 得体 = 顺眼
This has got nothing to do with looks because in my opinion, the prettiest chiobu is a turnoff if she acts like a spoilt brat in public or in front of family and friends.
Not a gold digger
Money in my opinion is secondary, I am perfectly capable of earning more. Besides money earn is to be spent anyway.. However I can't accept it if that is the basis why she chose me.. At least there has to be some feel involved?

It does not matter if she looks good or average because that fades in time.
It does not matter her physique or cup size because is only temporary.

It only matter for her to at least have some of the qualities I seek because I know what makes me tick. I would like to devote my heart and fall deeply in love one last time..

For someone who has been drifting for such a long time, there is a part of me longing to settle down someday as well..

Lol Sis, actually there was a period in my life when I was pretty close to a super rich girl.
But no, it didn't work out that way for me..

As for the best possible deal, I am not interested in that really.. I rather find a right deal.. :)

Lol Bro, money is subjective I guess..

For me money is secondary, money earn is to be spent anyway.. But if it is the only reason why she chose me then I rather not..

1 or 2 high end LV bags a year is still acceptable for me but if her taste is like 1 or 2 high end Hermes bags a year then jialat.. lol

Sigh bro.. true love at a young age has past a long time ago for me..
I don't really love myself though but that is a long story by itself..

In a way bro, I think a relationship should not be like how we manage our businesses/work.

P&L margins shouldn't be calculated or taken into consideration in a relationship.
It shouldn't be who gives more and receives less..
Because if we do that, the relationship will feeling like a transaction..

Lol, no lah Bro.. 顺眼 in my opinion, is how she carries herself..
I used to have super chio female friends but honestly even the prettiest chiobu is a turnoff when she acts like a spoilt brat in public or in front of family and friends.. No idea how to describe that  feeling..

Precisely, that's the same way I feel bro.. 2 people being comfortable in one another's company..

Do you still remember how we met?
I hijacked Sis's thread, got carried away and started blabbering about my ex-gf..

Not trying to blame her or anything but her departure did cause a void in my heart.. I don't know if I can stay/remain faithful but deep inside there is a part of me which yearns to settle down someday too..

While there is this large forest out here, some might just be wandering around waiting for that one tree..

Lol, I better stop here.. Else I might just go on and on...
