Seriously , how come nobody talked about the safety precautioned they should take or the organizer should have arrange.

I agreed, it is not the fault of S.Sim that the late Mr. Pradip died.

Looking back, I would say S.Sim probably did the right thing.

To date, it was not mentioned that what type of insurance the event organizer have provided for the fighters.

S.Sim claimed he did not have enough insurance coverage, that got me thinking, shouldn't the event organizer provide for it (I am assuming in this manner since the organizer neither argued nor corrected S.Sim).

Then also, did the organizer provided a full medical screening for the fighters? I would highly doubt so since the late Mr. Pradip agreed with 24 hours.

I think we should be mindful that this is an exhibition fight (layman: for show only) where the fighters are paid to put up a fight win or lose they are paid the same. It is supposed to be a relaxed fight.

I am most interested to see how will the organizer answer all these later on if the family of the late Mr. Pradip decided to pursue the case.

The guy died of a HEART attack not brain trauma you twit.

Besides it has been shown that headgear obstructs vision and makes matters even worse.

Are you freakin crazy??? Full medical screening??? Do you know exactly what that means. PET, CAT scan, bone density measurements, full blood work, treadmill stress test, coronary angiogram, cortisol levels... etc etc. The list is endless and it is still impossible to guarantee anything 100%

The cost of all this testing would be tens of thousands of dollars with some tests taking up to a week before results are available.

Besides these two clowns were amateur boxers not NASA astronauts being sent to Mars. As is the case in all amateur events the participants are made to sign indemnity forms and that's it.

Imagine if the organiser of a club X country run was required to send all participants for FULL MEDICAL SCREENING. Some sponsor would have to pump a king's ransom into the event before everyone was cleared to line up at the start.

Sometimes the stupidity and naiveté displayed in this forum makes me lose faith in the human race.

PS: The government certified broads don't go for full STD screening before they spread their legs for Sinkies either. ;) The most common STDs like Herpes and Warts are conveniently left out.

Lost his life.

I did martial arts for many years when i was younger and started amatuer boxing (3 rounds 3/3/4) with handgear, mouth guard, groin guard n the gloves during my service with the military. The punishments on the body, mouth and head (brains) etc. are tremoundous even with those protection in amatuers bouts. After a single session, both man are totally expanded.

Commentators whom have never been in contacts sports pls give some respect to the competitors and respect the death. Thanks!

Then again this is real time sparring .. what type of safety precautions you want?
The safest would be both guys stay at home.
