My 2nd trip to HCM, try bar 91 at HBT district 1 again. Pick a very slim and fair girl, sit with me and play billard for about 2 hour. She will keep pestering for ST so have to tell her need time to built up mood.
Proceed to my hotel at A&EM Thu khoa Huan after 2 drinks.

1) stay in district 1 if its ur first time in Hcmc.stay near Ben Thanh Market area and u can find lots of eateries within walking distance.
2) only take taxi from Vinasun,Mai Linh and Phuong Trang...never flash ur valuables outside the street and be extreme careful if u carry a sling bag.
3) taxis are easily accessible in almost all part of district 1.charges is not high unless u travel to outskirt of Hcmc..and as i mention before,only take taxi from the above 3 company.
4) no one is able to give u any reccomendations unless u states clearly what u want...e.g hj,bbbj,fj,ktv,disco etc

Thanks something new for me too. I have stuck for Mai Linh and Vinasun. So Phuong Trang is also good? Saigon Tourist might be the worst but there also many other candidates.

although i seldom take taxi,but Phuong Trang taxi has never give me and my friends any problem so far.another good thing is that their taxi is usually quite new.

another taxi company I would love to use "Happy Taxi" not so bad.
Never try to take Future Taxi (grey 7 seater with orange writing), every 100 metres is 10,000 VND.

From An Dong Plaza to Hung Vuong Plaza I paid 50 000 2 years ago. so beware.

Talking about taxis, vinasun has implemented a cashless system.
One of my friend has a corporate card on company account
Driver willl use a machine to trace the number on the card
very old type of technology
wonder individual can apply ?
advantage is you pay the exact fare and dun need to carry small change anymore.
also, as card holder you get preference treatment like 1st in queue in airport, taxi stand etc
bad is you need to wait for them to process payment which may take a while after reaching destination.
