well that depends on if u willing to send enuff to feed the family .... think in the regions of a few thousand S$ not VND .....

Your "working ger", I assume those working in Entertainment. These gers need a lot money for either themselves or families. So with enough given to them, they might change to better. But u have u fill the deep deep hole fast else she will change 'heart' soon.

i have a colleague married a viet wife at 42

had a kid at 44

now at 48, he is struggling to make ends meet.

only earn S$2K a month, used to earn extra $1K for overtime;

now company cut OT, he now has no savings.

he's a dead meat...

and he is trying to victimized me to get married ??? :eek:

After CPF deduction is $1600, now the kid should be 4yo. Can imagine the fees for nursery class and those extra courses like phonics, music or art and craft class. Sure bleed man.

the wife work as some part time job for about $600

now he is trying to upgrade his flat to a 4 room

so he can rent out the extra rooms to foreign students

at $500 each. if he can take in 4, then he gets $2K
