I had never tried once in HCM. If I want a massage I prefer solid real massage. Sifu H88 told me dun waste time and money in this type of massage. In Can Tho, I spent the whole 90 minutes session only hugging, fingering and kissing the ger with bbbj:D |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Good morning everyone. I got 1 question about HCM hotel.
For those district outside D1, is hotel always quite empty or full house? I have in mind to try stay 2 day in residential area like Binh thanh for a different experience, from google map i can see quite alot of hotel but many are not available for booking in 3rd party online booking website. So probably the only way is to walk in to hotel without booking in advance. Are these hotel in residential area always fully booked? Thanks :) |

http://www.hoteltravel.com.sg/vietna...residences.htm Or you can just stay at Tan Dinh Ward District 1 which is nearby to District Binh Thanh...or just walk in to the hotels to ask...hotels usually empty in the day but full at night...:) |

Even in D1, infests by tourists, I always see ang mo backpacker, walking around asking for hotel rates. Ang mo can survive in Asia, I do not see why Asian can't survive in Asia. Sometimes, I admire angmo... they are more adventurous than us. |
Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Yes, i agree with you, there are something ang mo do which many singaporean cant. When i travel, i never worry about hotel rundown or old but i always worry about old unclean hotel lead to bed bug.
The other things is ang mo have super long holiday like 1 or 2 mth so they can afford to waste their time and tight budget for their holiday but for singaporean worker, a 1 week trip is consider quite long so time become very precious, proper planning is important not to waste time. Most of my frens splurge lots of money on short holiday becoz they have little time to travel every year. Anyway i saw some photo taken in HCM D1 along the canal and think it is a very nice place to stay so i am looking for hotel near the canal opposite D1 :) Only thing is hotel do not have 3rd party online booking. http://i59.tinypic.com/2j64av6.jpg Quote:

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
I remember your last trip u made a few friends in HCMC. U can always ask them to walk into the hotels and book the room for u. Just wire them the money to pay deposit for u.
But if I were u, I wouldn't bother. Just fly there, arrive at the airport call up the hotel to see if they have rooms, if yes, just take taxi there. If u can't speak tv, ask the sweet gal at the counter selling Mailinh taxi coupons. Her English is sexcellent! Btw Hari Raya weekend will have unusually high no. of Singkies and Msians cheong in VN. Now it's raining heavily in most parts of Southern VN. Quote:

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Hi all, I just have to know, but are the telco shops still open at night, say about 8pm for me to purchase a sim card?
I'm asking this because my flight (I'm flying solo) to hcmc reaches at only around 7.30pm, and it kinda sucks if I get cut off without any means of contact.. |
