Mathematically we are still in the title chase, but can't afford to lose more than 10 points from now onwards if to have any chance . To be realistic we almost need a miracle to win the premiereship now.

Happy new year to all my fellow Reds,Cheers !

Maybe we are just very different people ... 'coz I would only say the above statements when the season is left with 2 league games to be played & we are 4-5 points behind the leaders ...
BUT, for now ... the season's only 20 league matches gone, with another 18 to be played ... despite being 4th, we are a mere 10 points behind the leaders with a game in hand. What's more, 2 teams ahead of us will be losing key players to the African Nation's Cup ... so, we only need to concentrate on closing the gap with the scums, if we wanna win the league. ;)

Let's look at it this way, LFC hasn't started a calendar year in such a disposition for a long long time ... if you need to have LFC running away at this point in time before you can have enough faith to back them to their first win in 16 years, then let me say the following:
1) currently, this is arguably the most open (competitive) season in BPL history
2) historically, only a minority of teams have managed to win the league after leading the table at X'mas

In other words, the race has only JUST begun ... so, my money is still on LFC to win the league this season. :D

Hahaha ... still baiting me for more revelation of my thesis paper on "LFC are not League Champions becoz they are still very don on their luck"??

In any case, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all regulars of this thread ... YNWA always. :D

the match was good to watch...
yeah, Dunne and his fellow defenders were solid.

hopefully, during the 2nd half of the EPL, we can go all the way, which is the case for many seasons..

Happy New Year To All Kop, Fellow Reds and Their Family !!! :D

0-0, fair result I guess... And credit to R Dunne whom I think had a great game for Man City in defense...

Think of it, this is one of our best xmas seasons we had for a long time...

At least we didnt lost, 7points out of 9points...

It is a fair result. Both teams are equally match. But Liverpool finally ran out of luck.:(
At least we did not lose the game.

Have a Happy New Year everyone.

Believe me,I really love to see you collect the prize money come May & prove my prediction wrong. If we go all the way in the CL knockout stage,I think Rafa has to decide which is LFC's priority. We are getting closer & closer in BPL but IMO we are not there yet this season.

BTW,the future's not ours to see,Que Rafa Rafa, what will be will be ;)

Ya instead of sticking to 4-4-2 we paid too much respects to Fat Bruce knwoing that he would try to get away with a point with the same old trick.

Kewell & Alonso were clearly overcome by fatigue & Pennant wasn't fit enough.
We used to have streak of wins after Christmas, but look at the fixtures....
so many tough games ahead.

Playing at home.. Wigan fighting relegation..

We took the lead, fail to find the 2nd goal, conceded late goal..

Drew the game and throw away points..

Getting to sound too familiar?

Didn't fancy them to drop such a game like this.....
