Hey Helm, I appreciate your low-key response to my quite over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek posting.

There is no way I or anyone else can know what all precisely you are going through, but I can pretty well detect that you are probably going through some challenges in your personal as well as professional life. And to this I’d suggest that you first just try to straighten out your professional duties before you even try tackling the personal ones. It is hard enough to take on a new career position when middle aged, but in your case, not being able to speak the language, not being settled in, observing and trying to conform to new work and societal cultures must be challenging enough without you trying to also tackle all the personal hubris.

Just concentrate on work whilst meanwhile absorbing the mores in Vietnam and sooner or later you will come to understand that your personal situation is not so desperate as to warrant you having to sponsor this girl or ANY girl now. Trust me on this – you do NOT want to add on to your woes by having to deal constantly with this totally useless and wasteful (Money AND your brain power/emotion) distraction. It’ll all come together by itself before you know it.

And BTW - I hope you will soon realize that being an expatriate in a third world country brings with it certain privileges like a higher placing in the socio-economic pecking order, aura and mystique of being able to provide better for ladies there, and of course more disposable income than your local peers. You're selling yourself short if you do decide to go ahead with this gal. Give yourself time and within a short period of time, I am quite sure that you will be able to do way better. Remember, money is KING and you who will be doling it out can and MUST use it to its most effective use; you're the King!!

My best wishes to you.
SEAJ

Thanks SEAJ,

I'm not experiencing any challenges in both personal and work. Workwise, i just treat the locals like kids . I give instructions, they follow.

That's what my boss told me. It does not bother me, i do not speak their language. All the correspondences are in English.

As for personal live, again, not into mid live crisis or whatsoever. It's just, I'm not really a cheongster and my fishing skills sucks big time.

To me, getting a VB companion is a transaction. I pay her to in order bonk her exclusively for a period of time. I'm not looking for commitment and is well aware of the risk. what she does behind my back does not bother me as long i do not know. And if somehow, i do find out, i'll move on...

Didn't know that there are other folks in my situation. Mine is worse... 29 yrs diff. And to make matters even worst, I have 2 of 'em. The only reason stopping me from walking down the aisle with either one of them is that I am a dirt poor. Anyway hope things work out for u. :)

H88 have met me before. Concentrate on work is best. I am based here permanent in HCMC, and I am approaching 50, still single. Concerning woman issue, be patient - the right person will come along, I am lucky to have a permanent girlfriend now, going to get married also and I am older than her 24 years, 2 cycle.

Coming to work in a foreign land is never easy. Consolidate your income, why so "atas " want to bao a girl? why not be patient and find a girl that's suitable to be your permanent girlfriend or even be wife.

Just my comment. No offense meant.

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)

Making a short trip to HCM for 3 days to relax and get away for a short break. This is also my first trip here for holiday and not for work.

Day 1
Arrived yesterday via Tiger and landed around 16:40. Raining heavily with lightning and thunder while turbulence in the flight during final approach.

Change some money at the airport with the best rate there out of the 4/5 changers at 1SGD to 16,979VND. Not fantastic as compared with black market but decent rates for me. Check my vinnaphone (turn left after exit from custom at the last shop) sim card still have 400,000 over credit since my last top up.

Took a taxi to my hotel near the airport and reach within 15 mins for 50,000VND. Decent hotel clean, spacious with fast wifi and breakfast included + girl friendly as confirmed with the receptionist if you will like to bring the girl back.

Meet up with bro MC around 7:30pm after my mistake in unable to get to the destinated cafe. Ended up he has to come and fetch me in the rain while going up and down the streets to find me. Felt really bad as it is still raining and we went straight for dinner. Went for a nice seafood dinner with lots of eye candies (the beer girls and the waitresses) for 320,000 VND including a few beers.

Next, we went to the recommended bj joint where CIM is available. Quite a number of syt girls available in this small joint. Waited a while for the girl whom mc is suggesting for me to try out. Sweet young girl 20yrs old which is quite fair. She tried her best to engage in some small talk and took off her clothes completely. Nice figure and breast with smooth tight skin. Started sucking my nipples and some catbath before cleaning, proceeding with the bbbj. The whole session is great where she is not rushing for time taking it slow and good service while I finger her and playing with her nice titts. Finally gave in and unloaded with CIM.

Girl: 7 to 7.5
Breast: B+ to C
Bbbj: 8 good skill and control of her suction
Damage: 170k with CIM normal bbbj 140k
Overall: 8.5 great price with good service and auto roaming her naked body.

After bro mc came out, we continue our exploring on our way. He pointed out a few more bbbj joints where the bbbj is cheaper at 120k. Few joints with interesting girls that are at least 7 which should be worth visiting. By this time, the rain is getting heavier and we are getting wetter with the ride.

Reached the cafe around 10plus and told that the place is closing at 11pm. Quite crowed with the locals. Wow the DJ playing the techno music looks quite good at least a 7 if you are more critical. Around 15 girls with good quality from 7 to 8, pretty, young and hot. Ordered 2 ice coffee with damage at 70k while we left when they are closing.

Reached hotel by 12 and an eventful rainy first day in HCM.

Bro mc please feel free to correct any mistakes or details I have missed out.
Thanks.

Well helm, you've had the benefit of the input of many here but ultimately the decision is yours and yours only to make - so let me just wish you the best of luck.

But just remember that part you say about moving on - that if things don't completely satisfy you, it IS best to just move on; so much fish in the sea.

And just that as you get more acclimatized to your job, your place etc, I hope you will also remember what some of us have told you and do re-assess if indeed we had made sense.

And don't worry about your "Fishing skills" - me-thinks that soon enough you'll find out that such supposed skills are not really that important - not when you're just shooting into a barrel of fish!!

Good luck/best wishes!

SEAJ

Thks bro MIFAcafe, actually knew bro mc for more than a year since I came to HCM for work.

Mostly, short trips of 1 or 2 days and will meet up if our schedule permits so he is more of a friend than guide. ;)

Hi Guys,

Went to ACE Club at D1 last night, first time there so I want to share a bit on my experience.

Was brought there by a Viet classmate of mine. The concept is like a lounge, with a little pole dancing and live singing. Since it was a tuesday night, I was expecting it to be quite dead, but the turn out was quite okay there were 12-13 tables open. 1 bottle of Gold label was VND 1.1 mil, fruits and mixer was not charged as my classmate is a regular there, so I not very sure on the pricing.

The club plays house music and party songs, but no dance floor. Atmosphere is more or less like a club in singapore.

The girls there are mostly young SYTs, I was told that the crowd is mostly office ladies, aspiring models, and from time to time viet celebrities. Hence, the club seems more for the pick up type of guys, or party-goers. Did not try to pick up the Public Relations Officers, but they seem very friendly.

I apologize for the not so helpful FR, as I am quite new to the HCM scene. However, I will be returning to ACE this weekend, hopefully I can dig more info to share. And possibly see some famous viet punani. :D:D

Gold Label for 1.1 mill ????.....

its the cheapest i ever heard before

fruits for free is possible..but mixer also free..

the club's revenue mainly comes from the mixers and fruits...i wonder how they survive if they give regulars free mixers..
