Of course we are in a crisis, that's for sure. But at least it's a bad run. We are not playing hot and cold as we have done previously like under Evans because that means there's something off with the players themselves. If it's a bad run, we can get out of it and get better, go on a winning run.

How will this thread read 2 months later? Hard to say, football fans change their minds all the time heheheh. Let's help the team get out of this bad patch first. ;)

win or lose we die hard fans shd stick to the team, like the the so called "expert" as dubbed by some of guys says we don t have the divine right to win the premiership.rafa his trying to build a team here.so lets all get behind him n the team n push for that 4th spot n hopefully have a gd run in the fa cup n the cl.

Totally agree on this statement . But the current strategy employed at Liverpool simply does not help. Rafa should realise it by now. Or he is afraid to admit he is wrong. If you were in the players shoes they would definitely feel insecure. They are not sure if they will be guaranteed even a first 11.Would they give it their all? Something needs to be done and to do it quick to save their season. Now they can't afford to lose that all important 4th spot.

Hopefully they can continue and must win the remaining matches in order for them to stake a claim on the 4th spot.

In fact we do have a better squad than the last 2 seasons. Only thing is the players don't get to play with each other more often. Something is definitely not right at Liverpool. Have you ever wondered why the Yanks did not splash more money ? Other than lack of funds? Well because they also know that Liverpool have a very good squad. Then why did they go behind Rafa's back to look for his replacement?

i think everton, the friendly meyserside neighbour will be the keenest rival for the 4th spot, yet again. Will be embarrassing if they pip liverpool to it once more:o

well i guess the yanks do not noe anything abt football or they felt that rafa might jus move on after the season, look till now we have lost only 3 games n yes we have had far to many draws.like i said watever team rafa puts out there r 10 internaitionals on the pitch n this palyers shd be able to do the job, they train together n the system is the same so u can t say that they do not noe wat to do.agreed we r going thru a bad patch but we always come gd in the run in.i think we shd jus let him get on with the job n stick with him.

Ultimately none of us know the answer to that. Going by common sense, some players can deal with the system, others will get discouraged. It's like a discussion we had some time ago, whether Rafa's method of not praising Stevie is a good method. Some of us would like that from our bosses, but not others.

We can only argue so far lah. At this point, there is no real right or wrong answer already. Only Rafa and the players can prove us right or wrong.

Btw I have no doubt we will qualify for Europe...err, I mean CL hor! ;)

Very true bro and I'm completely in agreement. We have been able to draw games this season where we would have lost previously. Take the games against Spurs, Boro and Villa, we were a goal down and someone (Torres usually) pops up with a late equaliser. We have definitely improved our squad and mentality although there is still a way to go before we are true championship material.

A piece of good news for Gerrard who will be the captain for the friendly with Switzerland and hopefully Liverpool will win against the Blues in the upcoming EPL match.

Wishing all a HAPPY & BONKTIFUL 2008(HUAT):p

Not only Everton but also Man City . They are very good this year. Best underdog performance by far this year.

We still can qualify if they continue winning the remaining games. But if we even draw 1 match it would be goodbye to CL.

Anyways wishing all Liverpool supporters a Gong Xi Fai Cai.

No matter what happens in the EPL , we are still behind Liverpool all the way.:D

Really hope we can win the remaining games also la but don't think it will come to the point where we will say goodbye to Champions League if we draw 1 game. The next game is away to Chelsea and anything we get there would be great considering the disappointing results we had at Stamford Bridge in recent times.

Last but not least, wishing all Mighty Reds fans Happy Chinese New Year!
