Pelangi (named Travel now?) is not really anywhere near cheong place, maybe just Tavern. I dun think can walk to Pacific, coz kena block by Novotel and Markota, can walk to Planet, must go 1 big round. And that area not really advisable to "walk walk" at night. It is still better to use a cab in most cases at night.

Bro, as Batam NED is fairy small, so if don't mind walking, most places are within walking distance. Not far from Pelangi to Harmony and planet.

From Pelangi can walk to Pacific lah. Only thing is need to follow main road. Pelangi, walk towards planet, turn left at the main road, walk straight, not far will reach pacific.

Bro, btw, have you checked the Newtown Hotel? IMO, I think that it's overrated, not worth the 500k, 1m & 1.5m (excluding 250k hotel for 1hr). Gals standards also so-so (to bad, I heard). Better still save $$ go bonk in Jakarta! :D

Just checking from you guys here about this resort cause my friend going for a meeting on that date we're going to Batam - TURI Beach Resort, Jl. Hang Lekiu, Nongsa, Batam (Nongsapura Batam). Is it far from our hotel Farmosa ?

Cause on that day we're thinking of going together with him to meet his customer where as we have to take a ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and maybe coming back will be from Harbour Bay Terminal back to Harbour Front in Singapore ... is it more expensive for the ferry ? Or we can still go through Harbour Front Singapore take a ferry to Harbour Bay Batam and then my friend take a cab to his customer place ??? Which is advisable . Your comments will be very much appreciate . Many Thanks !!!

Harborbay ferry operator does not have ferry service to nongsa. Batam fast have, but IF you thinking of taking different ferry to nongsa, then come back from harborbay, U need buy single trip tickets which are more exp. than return tickets.

So ur option is take Batam fast go Nongsa, come back from batam centre (Much nearer compared to nongsa, but still ard 20-25mins trip from nagoya)

If want go via harborbay all go on same ferry, get him take a cab to nongsa. This option much easier I think, n u guys can relax n maybe go massage, walk walk till ur friend finish his meeting. Go nongsa wif him cfrm u guys will sianz till max.

Formosa hotel is nearer to Harbour Bay terminal. Nongsa is about 40 minutes away. But when you talk about having fun, Formosa area is much better. I guess this is a better option. THere is no fun at all at nongsa hotel. Other than golfing. Makan is also ex there, unless you go Batu Besar, which is near to Nongsa, the kelong.

Thanks bro but what I actually meant was because one of my friend have to go for a meeting at his customer place at TURI Beach Resort, Jl. Hang Lekiu, Nongsa, Batam (Nongsapura Batam) so now bo bian have to go early (take the 10 am ferry) with him as he's also a first timer there after over ten years . I told him can once we're there he has to arrange his own transport to meet his customer so left me and another friend will go for some massage first while waiting for him to have lunch and check in to Formosa Hotel after that . :D

Bro sinloner, sorry for the late reply, was in batam over the weekend, so far they do not have online booking, but you can call friend a local chinese named eddy @ 081 364 450 168, he can help you get your bookings done, also if you need any other service like taxi pick-up, change money etc he can also help. cheers.
