I think he won the 1995 FA Cup. Was still in the squad for the treble season of 2001, although I think he was injured, knee what else. I remember Fowler inviting an injured Redknapp to lift the trophy with him. Think was League cup in 2001. Give him some respect lar. He was Liverpool Captain, not an easy acheivement.

That's right, bros, some fans are so eager to get rid of Rafa now that they don't realise what it takes to create a successful team. I have always maintained we have improved from last season and I still maintain it and that's enough for me to give Rafa another season.

An old saying in football, ''The league table doesn't lie." That is a good gauge if this season is an improvement from last season. Anfield is no longer a fortress. We can see many lower teams coming and leaving with a draw. I bet you we will be more points behind the champions this season than last season. I think winning the league is a REQUIREMENT for any liverpool coach. Can you imagine a liverpool coach saying at the start of the season that we will not be able to win or contend for the league this season? The fans will revolt. From November onwards, we haven't played consistently well enough. Think about it, if someone were to say to u, before the start of the season, that Liverpool will finish 20 points behind the champion? Will you accept?

Every job has its own job performance target. Can you imagine a bank's CEO who doesn't hit his bank's targets? How long will he last? Rafa has been handing in poor results this year. 1 Champions League point from our 1st 3 matches? Early exits in the FA Cup and League Cup? To make it worse, he didn't often play his best team. This is Rafa's 4th season already. He keep asking for money to buy players but how often do we see him benching the new signings like Babbel, Benyanoun and even Torres? Gives the signal to the bosses that he doesn't need his signings as badly as he claims right? Benyanoun need time to get used to BPL is it?To make matters worse, he went to humiliate the Americans through the press. I don't think the Americans are angels but if you want to screw your boss, at least u should have some results before u open your mouth right? In your job, if u screw your boss, even if u are right, is your job confirmed secured?

When we needed another striker, he went to buy Kuyt. How many people here thinks Kuyt is a striker? He's always running around, seldom in the box to finish off chances. Kuyt is more of a winger, playing on the left and right, running all over. Hardworking definitely but not an effective player because he's seldom in the penalty box. No wonder he doesn't score much. Think of the last 2 Kuyt goals against Inter and Barnsley. Where was he when he scored? He was deep inside the penalty box where strikers should be. Is it a coincidence that he scored when he starts staying in the box? Last season, we needed a winger. Rafa bought Babbel! Babbel even said when he was first introduced that he's a striker. When we needed a striker, he bought a 'winger'. When we needed a winger, he bought a striker.

Houllier brought us the treble. When we think of him, do we smile or do we frown (turning corners)? Rafa has done a good job winning trophies but he is using up his goodwill very fast. If we lose playing our best 11, i think the fans will rally behind the team. If we lose with our best players on the bench, who wun wonder what the **** is happening?

Yes,we need changes if Rafa really can't make it in the league, but who can guarantee with instant success after he leaves ? The Special One ? he did bring the league title to Chelski in his first season, need I say more, with Roman's deep pocket. With a team of Gerrards & Torreses, maybe Rafa can even bring us Treble too !
The two most successful managers in the EPL,Wenger took 3 seasons & Ferguson 6 seasons to deliver the first league title to their respective clubs under their management. From then on they ruled the EPL until Mourinho arrived. What does that indicate ? Team building ! & it takes time.

The Special One.. spot-on bro,yes im referring to this man by the name of
José Mário dos Santos Félix Mourinho Since i think we need a change,of course solution and candidates must be follow..Once again, allow me to answer ur question in point form..

A)Instance success:
Rafa brough us to 2 CL final in 3 yrs with 1 victory against the mighty Milan,in between he actually shoot down those big teams like Juve,Baca and so on..So,im really convinced about the way he handle CL football,no doubt it.And when The Special Once came into my mind,i did consider this words "instance success"..Before i continue, lets look at his record,

With F.C. Porto:
Portuguese Championships (2): 2002/03; 2003/04 (1st season in Porto)
SuperCup Candido de Oliveira: 2003
Cup of Portugal: 2002/03
UEFA Cup: 2002/03 (1st season in Porto)
UEFA Champions League: 2003/04 (2nd season in porto)

With Chelsea FC:
FA Premier League (2): 2004/05; 2005/06
Football League Cup (2): 2004/05, 2006/07
FA Cup: 2007
FA Community Shield: 2005
By looking at the list above,we can clearly see from 2002-2007,he never stop winning trophy,so from here can tell winning is his habit,i strongly believe he has dont it before,he will do it again.By the way,is this consider as an instant success:)

B)Now we come to the$$$ he spend..
During the time when he is in Porto, just only 2 season..how much money do u think he spend on players to win the back to back Portuguese Champion,Uefa Cup and the Champions league?By saying that, lets see the players that he sign which u truly consider a big name signing:
Nuno Valente,Derlei,Paulo Ferreira,Pedro Emanuel, Edgaras Jankauskas and Maniche.
How much ? i dont know, but 1 fact is for sure,Porto is not a team that can afford to spend over 20million pounds in 1 season, together with the old back bone of of the Porto team,he success both in domestic and europ in just 2 season.

C)Roman Chelski:
This is the parts that i really need to convinced all the reds bros here.
Lots of people link his success in chelsea with Roman big bucks..I personally did hear it from fans, local and foreign press, football writer, players, managers, even kopi tiam uncle..As if the whole world know it except him:confused:But did all of u ever ask why he choose to go chelsea?Really because Chelsea got lots of money to spend?and below im gonna show u the articles of what he actually said when he is still in Porto..some of the bros here might know it,some really dont know, some know, but pretend dont know..Here it goes:

Whilst still at FC Porto, Mourinho was linked with several top European clubs, including Liverpool and Chelsea. Mourinho publicly stated his preference for the Liverpool job over the Chelsea one. He said: "Liverpool are a team that interests everyone and Chelsea does not interest me so much because it is a new project with lots of money invested in it. I think it is a project which, if the club fail to win everything, then Abramovich could retire and take the money out of the club. It's an uncertain project. It is interesting for a coach to have the money to hire quality players but you never know if a project like this will bring success.

So from the acticles above,do u think his vision ask him to go chelsea if he really have a choice?Tell u,he actually prefered to join us before he parted with Porto, but Moore and Perry choose Rafa. And now he is available,he openly turn down the England job, what do he is waiting for?

Lastly, regarding why Ferguson was not sack,i will try to share and explain from wat i understand in that particular time hopefully in my next posting..As ur know what take bros here 5 mins to write,i need to take 20mins:p

It all depend on the club prioritites . If they want a treble and he can't deliver then they seriously need to look for a new manger. Like I said before, Rafa is good at CL. No denying it. But he sould improve on the results for the domestic games too.

Decent but defense looks very shaky...mainly becos of make shift central defenders...but Lucas was quite shaky too...losing the ball and straying passes..imagine if not for El Nando we would have been staring at another defeat..

Scrappy! The defence was exposed all the time.Again, you can see the contrast from the CL game against Inter.Totally different. But a win is a win. Let's hope this can go on till the last game.

If last night's match is a game of snooker, then I think we can say Middlesborough 'self-snooked' themselves last night. The 1st and 3rd goals are crazy errors. Just when they pull themselves back to 3-2, 'Ali Ali Air' :D 'self-snooked' again by slapping Mascherano. Wonder if Mascherano will get punished for putting his hands on Ali Ali Air...

Benyanoun and Crouch should start more often. Do you guys think that if Torres had gone down in the box instead of driving to score the 1st goal, we would have gotten a penalty and a BORO player off?
