Actually, why you want to book in advance? Can always walk in. Also, why you want this hotel? if for fun this hotel is ok. If for others, I suggest other hotels.

I just came back from BTM with my buddy, Bro HSZ. We stayed at Utama as usual. Went to M82. Sorely disappointed with the quality of gals on offer. Botak is asking 250~350k for CMI aunties or I dunno what how to describe.
His attitude was very different from last year. Heard he is moving to a bigger shop space next month. Think his head getting BIG. :(

Went to Flower Massage. Took the 1 and half hour VIP package. (Massage, Body Scrub, Susu bath). The price written was 120K at the counter. We even pointed at the price before proceeding. But after session, the lady recep whacked us 140k!! Bro HSZ was charged 5K for small bottle of mineral water!
We argued and in the end, she black face reduced back to 120k for me but charge Bro HSZ 130k. HSZ asked why? She said the bottle of water is 10K!!!
She refused to budge after that. We lan lan exit as we dun wan make a scene and spoil our mood.
Although I enjoyed the body scrub n susu bath by the chick. This greedy recep spoil everything.

Will skip this shop next time.

We whacked some good quality T-shirts at BTM Centre Matahari. There were some outside the Matahari store with 50% discount. Works out to about only less than SGD5 per piece in the end. Really good bargain! We whacked a total of about 7/8 pieces. Bros should look out for this next time at BTM Centre. Local brands, unique design. Cannot get in SG or Msia. Confirmed. :D

Bro, thanks for sharring your views! Pak P not around. On behalf of Pak P, apologise for your bad encounter. Pak P promised that will bring in more stocks in near future for the rakyats across the straits!(on behalf of Pak P).

As for the honesty, Pak P will ask MOE to teach them basic honesty lessons! :mad:

Sorry to hear you got a bad time at the receptionist. Water consumed by the massage lady also bill to customer, hope you take note. So if the lady ask to go out to get water, just say no. Overall, this is still a nice place.

Yes, my buddy is aware. But we are so used to buying RP1K water that we forget it will be marked up so high.

It is actually at the corner only. A few shops away. The sign board is up. Vertical at the corner. Can't miss it. But if Botak continue like this, move to new place also no use.

Anyway, my buddy n me won't give up on BTM yet. There are cheap snacks n shampoo to whack apart from cheap T-shirts. Cheap food also. I still remember the tasty murtabak (15K only) at a roadside stall. Added plus point is not much crowd. We enjoy shopping at the malls/hypermarts. We are treated like kings. We spotted a few chio promoters. Too bad, dunno how to hint them. :(

We planned to land at Harbour Bay, instead of BTM centre, on our next trip.
Want to try out the "infamous" Formosa Hotel. We stayed at Utama for quite some time liao. We couldn't find our favorite recep, Christina, this time around. So, time for a change.

Mas Cerberus, worry not! They were not chopping your carrot heads! It's a standard price that for a drink is around Rp 5k. As a Minister of Sarong of Batam, I must say, it is still reasonable. Because a simple logic is (maybe) expired coke in Pacific Disco cost you about Rp50k on Sat's night (if I am not wrong) and it penniless outside! :eek:

Glad that you like the best buys in Batam. As for the chio promoters, can try to patrol the place the promoters stationed often, giving hint, asking whether can buy her breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper/tea whatever meals or whatever drink including 1k to 5k drinks as a hint! If she is interested in you, sure there will be some hints.... :D
