Hope that helps

Beside the hotel PACIFIC also alot of night stalls. THere is a nasi padang beside Circle K, pretty good standard, but not best. And Altalanta...MOst expensive in town. Of cos, further down, behind DC mall, you got alot more massage places to try....

Or read my thread for some try.

Just to add on that there is a new one called RIA massage, open about 2 weeks only. At Golden Gate( beside DC mall, blue building, shop houses)

Been there once, and still hiring new ladies. I believe got speicals, even I did not got it the first round, a new lady who came from Tangarang, says she may go back soon.

Sweeee!! Straight after book in confirm lunch at the A&W there...thx bro Ah Hia

And from the map i posted earlier, i believe the mall is walking distance to the joints around famosa area there rite?

And one more qn...any good seafood place for dinner??

Yes, the joints are 12 oclock, straight ahead out from the gates ( A & W) direction, and you walk straight across the road, is formosa hotel.

Best Seafood? Not in town area, sorry to say that. BEst are the kelongs in Punggul and Batu Besar..... Cheap also. Golden Prawns is ex, but not too bad, and nearer to town.

U wanted best location nearest to Formosa, this is it.
Or u can try Hallo Batam around the corner from Centrepoint.

Simple seafood dinner like i told u can try the ground floor coffeeshop at Hotel Sinar Bulan.
Or left of Formosa have restaurant called Siang Malam i think.
Not bad too.

Cheers !

You got to have a company to invite you over, with a letter, from the local govenment department. Then you take the letter over to singapore to do, and if I remember correctly, it is at tanglin plaza.. Not sure now.

Business visa you go Indo Embassy near grange road in singapore. 3 working days.

You from which part of Indoneisa? Coming here for business? Welcome to Batam.

Thanks for welcoming bro. I am from Medan and residing in Singapore for >10+++ years liao. Just back from Batam recently. Explored alone and to be honest, it's easy to go about (because I speak bahasa). Only 1 sbf bro is keen to join me, but not at the recent trip since can't met his schedule. I am actually planning for another batam trip again next Friday (2D1N) since it's world cup season and I can watch the games after bonking :).

I am not a KTV person, what I did was eat (local food), bonk, shop, massage. So if you think you fit with my interest/schedule, I don't mind if any bro here wanna join. We can watch world cup after bonk in 1 room to talk something about soccer LOL.
Write to me: [email protected] if you are interested (title: Batam trip).

Anyway, my recent trip to batam:
2pm: reached harbour bay (batam) thru wavemaster - $48 (return trip).
2.30pm: checked in Formosa hotel - Rp 375,000 + taxi (Rp 40,000).
3pm: Walked around to chicken farm. Choose a 19yrs old. Quite fair, young and tight - Rp 400,000.
Follow up with bonk, eat, shop (Nagoya shopping mall; if I am not mistaken), massage (actually massage lady lagi swee; damn it).
In total, I've spent almost like $230 plus ferry.

Please up points if you think I deserved :)

Bro,you need to have a business visa or indo work permit before you can apply for the 'SEZ' card as they are called here.the SEZ card relinquish the need to have your passport stamped everytime you arrive/depart indo and hence no more ques and 'questioning' at the immigration counters...but be warned...
the business visa will set you back by about sgd$200 while the access card rp1jt and are valid for 1yr.
the company that do the card(on behalf of the indo govt) has a office in hong lim center(upper cross st).they will be able to assist you.(required documents,submission/collection of visas, same day approval visas, sez cards, fees etc)
