I believe you already know Tom Huddlestone is injured and wont play tmr.

Based on Spurs' UEFA matches results this season and IF playing another UEFA cup team, yes...can give level half. But Spurs are visiting Sevilla who are 2nd in Primera Liga with only 2 home defeats in all competitions this season.

Bro you still have more than 24hrs to place your bet(s). ;)

sadly, its the other way round. no thanks to the blundering referee Alain Hamer.

seville 2 (kanoute - penalty, kerzakhov)
spurs 1 (keane)

'It's nice to score an early goal, and we started very well,' Keane told ITV1.
'The penalty - I have to choose my words carefully - I thought it was a disgrace. To go one up and get a decision like that against you, the lads are obviously devastated.

Robinson was similarly angered by the penalty.
'I clearly got two hands on the ball. The referee said I got the ball and then the man. Well, surely that is a fair challenge?

Tottenham manager Martin Jol admitted he was bitterly disappointed by the penalty decision.
'Everybody could see it was not a penalty. He got two hands on the ball so we are very disappointed,' said Jol.

Paul Robinson wins the ball from Adriano, but a spot kick it was.

UEFA cup quater-finals 1st leg results.

Bayer Leverkusen 0 - 3 Osasuna (shocking)
AZ Alkmaar 0 - 0 Werder Bremen
Espanyol 3 - 2 Benfica
Sevilla 2 - 1 Tottenham

With an important away goal going into the 2nd leg, Spurs are still good enough to win the tie. I thought the silly ref may make another mistake when a raging Robinson tried to test the ball's bounceability. :D

i may have missed that, that ref is seville's 12th player. :D

chelsea 1 (carvalho) spurs 0

i noticed carvalho in recent matches becos he is dribbling well and producing excellent passes everytime he moves forward (unlike john terry who never leaves his defence except during set pieces). but i didnt expect that kind of long shot from carvalho though.

looks like mikel is going to succeed makelele.

Chelsea's Mikel is pursued by Tottenham's Paul Stalteri and Teemu Tanio. Chelsea won the game 1-0.

Ricardo Carvalho decided Chelsea's controversial home fixture against Tottenham with a superb second-half goal.

The Portuguese defender unleashed the match-winning shot that produced the only goal of the game in the 52nd minute to put pressure on leaders Manchester United before their late kick-off at Portsmouth.

Tottenham, forced to play the game just 39 hours after losing the first leg of their UEFA Cup quarter-final in Seville, displayed admirable determination but never looked like beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for the first time in 17 years.

Chelsea had rejected Tottenham's request to move the game until Sunday because of their own travel plans ahead of their Champions League return leg against Valencia on Tuesday night.

It happened after Robinson was adjudged to concede the 'penalty'. For a second I feared the ref may show him the red card for the way Robinson argued and threw the ball.

12th man? Yeah. Probably.

Mourinho must be bonkers to allow you guys an extra day's rest and only to show he has sportsmanship? The EPL has just set a precedent and it will come back to haunt them.

spurs started the match against chelsea without a few key players like lennon, zokora and keane. the match schedules are too coincidental in this case, now spurs have so much time to prepare for seville's arrival in white hart lane. :D

luckily the ref didnt show robinson the red and just told him two hands on the ball is not enough!

jose will definitely reject the request from spurs becos he wanted his matches to start at dawn remember? :D
