hi bro, ok bro, just my opinion ok, no right, no wrong.
I usually go to Wat Palelai, Bedok. Mostly for prayers and meditation.
But i haven't sourced for amulets in Sg as they are either overly priced or unconfirmed sourced(shops)

so i have always sourced from Thailand as I am a collector.

So my advice is for a start, take a short tour to Hatyai. Visit Wat Kok Samakhun, Wat Krong Lian or the famous Acharn Thong's temple (a distance out of Hatyai 45 minutes by car ) and get your amulets there.
Also can have monks' blessings.

A very interesting dream you have. And I suggest you look around and identify that amulet you have in your dream first. Cos there are a lot of amulet variations.. from mainstream to barang (got spirit), although they look the same. IMHO, going Thailand is great... but to find that particular one, do you even know where to begin?

So I would suggest seeking more knowledge from experienced bros like bro big_daddy, look around the shops to see if there is any similar to the one in your dreams and join in some amulet forums. Only when you find what you are looking for, then its your choice to go Thailand or rent from a reputable shop here.

Well, its not going to be easy unless its a popular one. So if you have the heart to look for it, I am sure you will succeed. But if you are half hearted, why look for it in the first place? All becos you dreamt of it?

I went to south once as I wanted to go nakhon si thammarat, Wat Phra Mahathat, also visited a few temples there, Wat Pako is 1 of them with famous LP Thuat. Wanted to go Wat Changhai but my friend too worry to go there. :D
