Of cos it's a loss but that's what Lucas is there for.

I for one am happy and proud of the way we handed the issue. We fined Masch and he pleaded guilty and then accepted the extended ban humbly. Apparently we are considering about appealing but I don't think we should, given the political context now.

It'd be good to let the thick twats at FA and the refs know LIVERPOOL are not the club they should be concerned about on indiscipline against refs!!

Update: Apparently we are appealing.

.

But he didn't have such a great time against that small club last Sunday...i felt he was a bundle of nerves...perhaps becos it was his debut in his first ever derby with that small club...

I think is the nerves that is getting to Lucas during the derby game. It is his first derby game & generally he did quite a ok job on that day.

Before the derby game has start, a lot is been said who is the king of Merseyside at the moment. For me there is absolutely no doubt that Liverpool is the King now & Will forever be the King at Merseyside. No chance that Everton is taking that away.....

You Never Walk Alone....

As in the words of Bill Shankly..."There is only two teams in Merseyside. One is Liverpool and the other Liverpool reserves"....:D:D

Yes but he did well coming on as a sub against Arse. We have to play Lucas to his strengths - he passes well and that also relieves the pressure on the defence. He will never be a tackler in the mould of Masch.

Anyway it seems Lucas is just one of the many chances that will take place! Hope we don't let ourselves down nonetheless. :p

I think he is a better player than siso. At least he controls the ball better.

Shit, I think our reserves are playing better against Arse than our first XI. ;)

Crouchie! 1-0, brilliant and totally deserved for him!

PS. Not completely sure I want us to win today - if Arse are out of it, they will give 100% in the 2nd leg at Anfield.

Echoed all my thoughts about the game so far :)

But Arsenal would probably be out of the race even if they draw, so I'd still rather a win to Liverpool :D

Still only half time though.

Arse just equalised.

Another header we failed to deal with. So Arse are a free flowing team huh?

Third consecutive 1-1 draw with the Gunners this season, albeit it was done using almost a 2nd string team and so credit has to be given to the lads!

Well done Reds!!! :D

1-1 FT.

Goodbye to Arse's hopes and another year without silverware (we will put them out on Tuesday).

Wonderful bit of brilliance on Rafa's part to bed Plessis in the match - WTF did he come from heheheh. But smashing performance from the young man and a good backup to have in the matches Masch will miss. :D
