As time goes by people are becoming more selfish, greedy for power and money, no contentment.

What is true love? Is love that lasts for few years/months/weeks/days any lesser than love that is proclaimed to be "everlasting"?

If you have loved once, I believe you would have at least found true love once. Whether the feelings fade over time, that, I guess is more of change of heart. Fact remains true love once existed.

In short, I do think there is true love. Everlasting love, however, is another issue althogether.My 2 cents.

Most women love to play the feminine role n enjoys the masculinity of a man. They long for their man to protect, give them security. In return, they want to show their feminine side by cooking n caring for their man. This is nature, we are biologically like this since cavemen time.
From your expectations, I can safely say u would have no prb finding your dream gal. Men have the advantage of time, from 18 to 80 or even older, you can still get women any age tho most prefer 18 to 30 range. All the best, rem to come back here to announce when you are in love ;-)

As for me, no need to help la. my romance life is over, dead, end of life. But i am not pathetic, I enjoy all other aspects in full, my career (v thankful to my boss n firm), family (awesome love), great friends (very blessed) n my sports n hobbies. I am very very contented already, and living in peace, must thank heaven n karma cannot ask for more :-)

its the realistic type
each bring their offers onto the table, usually men give security, women give feminity. their life together is better than being alone, mutually beneficial.

I do think that true love do exist but requires a lot of efforts and work on both parties to make it work. Is just a matter of how many of us are willing to do all these.

There are examples around but just maybe unheard of or sometimes we choose to ignore due to all the negativity surrounding us.

Maybe you are an exception but nowadays most girls can't cook sis..
I don't mind doing the cooking instead.. And yes, it is edible.. I used to make her breakfast in bed.. cook her fav dishes when she comes over..
But that's besides the point..

Nah, that announcement would never happen.. We are alike in that sense, as you have mentioned below.. ^^

Selfless love was probably killed by people we have once willingly given it to..

Even the realistic kind has lost it appeal..

To exorcise your past memories of her:
1. work n exercise n play every min n sleep n wakeup n repeat - this u have tried n once u run into her u think of her again - method failed but gd news is u have other successes

2. find a rebound relationship - this is proven to work even by therapist u can try. but u cannot fall in love or else double whammy. as to how to find one, u know better than i do no need to teach u.

3. let me use my kendo stick beat the hell outa u till u wake up.

I've heard about this rebound relationship thing but honestly have no idea how about getting into one.

Well, first of.. A rebound relationship is not a genuine one. Can't just walk up to a lady and ask if she would get into one with me. It's almost definitely gonna backfire.

Secondly, most female friends I have are old time friends. Known them for like 15-20 years and I hate to sour the friendship if things gets out of hand.

Lastly, I've heard like sometimes when people gets close together.. Feelings/emotions might come into play even when it was a known rebound relationship between both individuals.

OMG, a kendo stick.. Can I make you a counter-proposal?

How about we swop that kendo stick with a softer object.. Like maybe a pillow/bolster? :p

For #2 to work, I first must at least know of someone who is willing to fill and try out that role.

If there is even such a person, would you think if she would agree on the below?

• I might fall in love with this person.
• If she falls in love with me.
  If the former happens, I hope she could at least give us a chance. And if it happened vice versa, I will honor it as well
• I am the kind of person who relishes in showering her with love, care and stuff like how I would in a real relationship. Non-sexual manner.
