Yes. The hotel will either reply: "Yes, no problem.......", or "Sorry, we regret to inform you that......., or they simply don't reply at all.

Another faster way would be to call to the hotel and ask them directly.

No need to feel shy about asking. Better to know whether the hotel is gal-friendly before your trip. Otherwise you may end up paying for another room under the gal's name, which happened to me with GK Central Hotel.

I think the best way in this situation is to go short time hotel.
This way u still can have your 4/5 star hotel bed dry & clean to sleep.:D

Yep, 91 HBT is closed, been closed for the pass 2-3 weeks already i think. Not sure what they are renovating into though....
