Thanks for the intro bro, but had learnt a very bad & expensive lesson last night...
Called a cab, ask for reccomandation, brought us to a KTV...
Asked the price b4 going in. The assistant said $2600NT/pax for 100mins wif gals & can do watever you can, NETT .
Inside the romm was almost like BS or SHH version.
Waited 10 min 1st gal came in and SIT beside one of my bro.
Waited another 15min no gals come in so we ask if the timing set by gals sitting down or by the room.. the waiter told us it's by the timing once the gals sit down only. Okay, waited another 5 min then the gals starts coming in.
(Okay.. long story cuts short)
The gals just sit beside you & just chat, NOting else.
only the 1st gal sitted for 100mins. the rest less than 1hr.
Ask for bills, came out more than 10times of what we expected.
Argued with the manager for 1/2hr & the most he can give is 10%.
Dun want to waste time & scare got trouble, we decided to pay up & FO from this place. Then the manager told us only can swipe half the amount & need to pay the rest by cash..... By now think all of you bros know it's a scam job.
LL pay 1/2 by credit & 1/2 by cash.... :mad: and when we came out from that place, notice a few guys waiting outside, but the manager gave a signal & they act blur & walked away....

Expensive Lesson learnt in KS. :(

Yo bro..the IT Show in TPE is from 2nd~7th June...then will head to china from the 7th till 10th...So if u come AU..then I will miss u ...

Bro, I visit Tpe almost once a month, so from experience:

1) Don't ever visit KTV if you do not have any locals with you. Most of the KTV are controlled by the triads.

2) If being threatened, just pay by credit card. After you left, immediately call your credit card company, tell them that you were being threatened to pay the bill and ask them not to pay. (Just a remider, don't use this if not necessary and don't do it too often, or else the credit card company will not believe you and black list you) Do it if it is legit.

3) Normally the charge is NT$2 k per gal per hour for mid price KTV.

Hope this is useful for the bros here who visits Tpe.

No worries bro..The room I got in TPE during the show is around NTD2160 per night. As for china..still no plans yet but will be free from 7th June...I might have 1 or 2 friends joining me...u keep me posted lor..As for the local FL...will sure call u whenever I drop by SG..heheheee!;)

I don't know which provider you tried. My experience with this is pure bs.

I was quoted that as well. 4K for night market stall meimei, 6K for current student, 8K for model, etc. Pure bs.

I chose 4.5K and it was a mistake. Was shown 3 girls before I was ready to walk. Truly ugly. It's like 2K quality disguised as 4K quote.

Anyway, did the boink, paid, left totally disappointed. I felt even if I asked for 6K or 8K, I'd get the same ole choice.

And this only happened in Taiwan.

I'd beware of the false advertisement.

Taipei disco - can try Luxy, Room 18, Plush... wed, fri n sat very happening. Go try your luck.

If u r angmo, can try Carnegies (Wed ladies night), Brass Monkey (Thu ladies night), the ladies there like angmo n plenty of ONS opportunities. My Swedish friend scored quite a few times.

I have kangtow for KTV in both Kaoshiung and Taipei. Price is about std $2500 /hr/person (KS) and $3500 (TP). I know the manager well, so quote my name should be fine and will not get chop. PM me if interested.

Totally agree. Before this i have never try room service before but after this experience I'll stick to KTV scene where I can do a PoC before take out. 6-8k for a real gem.
