Thank you Hurricane88 for the self-help guide. but can i ask is there any ktv or pub that have more chinese speaking gals as i dont know any viet at all. I will be taking my first trip in on the 18th. :D thank you very much....

Don't know if useful or not, but on my first trip to HCMC many years ago, my local friend took me to a KTV in the China town part where we sat with a few Chinese/English speaking girls - not that many but enough to make it an enjoyable evening. But I also remember that even at that time, prices were NOT cheap.

I'd speculate/think that of late, since there are so many VB's doing their tours of duty in Singapore and other places, there'd be more of them who would have multi language abilities. But I also agree with Hurricane - that if your main criteria is their Chinese language abilities, then you'd be better off staying in Singapore to party. Be a bit more adventurous and take in all that HCMC is otherwise famed for - I'm very sure that you will probably enjoy yourself more this way.

You can go through Hurricane's list to determine which KTV's are located in China town.

Just suggesting thass'all! And just like Hurricane - not to upset anyone...skip if you dun like to read...

communication breakdown is where we learn what to say ma.

every breakdown is a lesson to be learnt. of course, there is google translate or other translator...thought the translation may end up worse.

I had just checked with my company Travel agency that the news had not been confirmed. Vietnam Embassy had not confirmed this news yet. If required, it will be stupid.
