superb effort from the balls. none of them gave up and let the supporters down. no doubt the best performance of the season so far. hoping for more improvements as we go along! both kuyt and keane were harassing their players non-stop.. full credits to them for their hardwork.

marvellous result!!!! you'll never walk alone!! :D

Bro you are entitled to your opinion but Rafa's record at Valencia would suggest he is more than a cup specialist. In fact he lost 2 CL finals with Valencia if I recall correctly.

No nucleus? Added to Gerrard and Carra - Agger, Mascher, Alonso, Skrtel, Torres and now Keane? This in the context of a chairman strapped for money (Moores), clearing Houllier's deadwood, feuds with and between the American owners and the CEO, having to build a new stadium?

If it had been another manager (Keegan or Curbs), they would have walked out of the club long ago.

well said bro don t noe y sum of this guys still on the back of rafa.like i said before he is the best man for the job but u got it wrong in rafa losing 2 cl finals with valencia it was hector cuper, rafa as done well n hopefully the win over the scums will set us up for a tittle challenge.we might not win it but hopefully we r there pushinging all the way to the last day of the season.

YES YES YES YES, we finally beaten them in a league game under Rafa, and after 5 long season.....

did not catch the whole game, but seriously everytime when those scums cross the ball into the box, i was shit shit shit......but in the end a really nice tussle by Mascherano, and good cross by Kuyt, followed by excellengoal.

Kuyt should have score late on too...

well now Champs League, Marseille, hope we can repeat the last season score...hehehe....and on Sun, the scums will be playing chelsea, a draw will be good for us.

Cheers, a good win and good start to the season. And lets hope the team will be consistent till the end.

Thanks bro, I stand corrected, Rafa only joined Valencia in 2001. ;)

That sure is priceless. :p

But thumbs up for him to have that confidence to go against the manure defense.

His performance is surely different from the previous matches, looks good to me though as it seemed like he has finally picked up his former role in turtleham and apply in liverpool :D

Tots: The boys were playing very well, until when Gerrard was substituted in and then the team kinda in some form of ?pressure...... perhaps a new tactic needed some time to re-adjust?

Hopefully we will get to see more of Benayoun and dun sell Xabi.

we were the better team in the 2nd half. Seemed like the scums are afraid of the 50-50 ball. Break a leg?
Micheal carrick on clutches I laughed. Berbertov at the sidelines, I smiled. Fuckerson with damn red face, and stoned. Priceless.

Hey man, there isn't any need to use vulgarities on them. They may be our most competitive rivals but let's not call them names. As liverpool fan, we should have more class than other supporters. Ferguson is well respected by both Houllier and Rafa. There are strict rules in this forum on vulgarities. Wouldn't want you to be zap to negative zones by Sammboyfor due to this reason.

Don't wish to see us degenerating to the level of LIVERPOO, the Man U fan/joker who started a thread to mock us. Talking abt him, he seems pretty quiet after our victory. Should we bump up his threads with victory posts? :D

Kuyt had been unlucky with his goal-bound shots [I counted at least 2 occasions] spoilt by the superb reflexes of Van D Sar [a fellow Dutchman] otherwise the scoreline could have been 4-1:D

well not so much of shaky defense, but manure seems to be able to score against us, not matter how bad they played, and normally its through those brute force cross haha.....

anyway we won on weekend against them, now on to the next game....cant sit on this victory alone rite bro.
