Hate to say this but the best thing to happen to our season probably isn't related to our match Vs PSV. Chelsea and Man U have more injury worries now with Drogba and Scholes(and maybe Rooney too) being out. Scholes and Drogba's injuries seemed pretty long term. With the number and type of injuries hitting both teams, I'm sure their form will falter over time.

Just a couple of comments (and congrats to Keano and SG on their goals!).

Keano's goal came from the right, supposedly our weaker flank which is nice to see. Torres and Kuyt combining well. Kuyt in particular having a good run recently.

We were patient and passed the ball around with a lot more intelligence than the Stoke game. No point just lobbing long crosses in when there is no one to attack them. Way to go to cut through and tire massed defences at Anfield.

;)

i think the amigo has stumble into kuyt s correct position which is right side of midfield. shades of paisely when he transformed ray kennedy frm centreforward to a leftsided midfield, hopefully our run continues n we don t have a hiccup which happens after a cl game.

who the hell cares abt that its a 23 man sqd they have to deal with it jus like us when we had sg n ft out we coped with it n this season so far we have shown we r not a 2 man team.

What's wrong with that? We were 2-0 up by the end of the first half. Rafa knows PSV have to attack us to get something out of last night's match. He probably instructed us to play the quick counter-attacking game to exploit the gaps that will surface when PSV attacks.

On the other note, we USED to have this line of thought that Liverpool will perform badly in the EPL match after a mid-week Champions League. By sitting back, we are conserving some energy for the weekend match against Man City perhaps? Remember we drew 0-0 against Stoke after our last CL match against Marseille. We did look a bit lerthargic in that match.

Xiu Xi Shi Wei Le Zou Gen Chang De Lu... Hmm did i get my hanyu pin yin correct? (It means taking a rest now is for the journey ahead) for non-chinese bros.

Why shouldn't we care? 2 of our top 4 rivals will have weakened squads. Isn't that good news for us? They drop points, we will find it easier to establish ourselves at the top. I'm waiting for Reira to hit top form... I think he will score through a wickedly dipping cross-cum shot from the left.

So there I was waiting for the match to start and... fell asleep at 1.30... DANG!!!

Nevertheless, woke up this morning to hear the great scoreline. Keane finally on the scoreboard and Stevie G's 100th goal for us!

Keep up the great work my mighty reds!

Exactly...the injuries to Scum and Chelshit players haven't given us the unbeaten run the BPL and UCL this season. Let's focus on what we do. ;)

u look at our squad number and u compare to others, its a huge list. Surely many of them will have restricted appearances for Liverpool....

I think Alonso is needed cos of our inability to get Barry. Anyway, nice to see our unbeaten start to the season. Hope it continues...

Dear Reds,

IMHO, the monster aka mascherano, should play if he is fit instead of alonso as i felt that stevie g tend to be a bit cautious in moving forward to attack if alonso was partnering him as he know defensively alonso is weaker compared to the high energy levels of the monster. also the way the monster track back & tackle the opposition plus the fact that he is a good passer of the ball give the team more balance, especially in the middle of the park.........think he will be back for the game agst man city.

also, hope the gaffer give more regular starts to babel & agger as heard tat real madrid is making a move for agger during the jan trf window........hope tat wont happen.........:(

all in all, great start to the season, long may it continue!!!!

come on you reds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
