Hi bros, tks for all the contributions.As a newbie, I found tis thread to be extremely useful. Though tedious reading page 1 till the last page , I found the process very rewarding with laughters along the way reading FRs and not forgetting the anticipation it brings before making my way to PP. I have an upcoming trip next week . Being a loner and as a newbie with limited budget to PP scene, I have some simple questions for you guys.

Qns 1) As I will be crossing over from HCMC to PP via bus , is there a need for any visa beforehand? ( sorry for the ignorance ) , I read something like the ride can be rocky.. I wish I can stomach this... will the bus blast on extremely loud music? loud music not pleasing to my ears can cause tears in my eyes.

Qns 2) I have the intention of getting a Cambodian girl LT from farm.How do I go about doing so and when is the best time to do so? Will I run into danger of taking tuks tuks to those farms? ( i read that booking a tuk tuk for a day is USD10 a day)

Qns 3) With limited budget,which do u suggest flamingoes hotel or sunway or even cheaper ones ? A clean( no bed bugs) a/c room with hot shower is good enough , nothing fanciful is needed.

Paiseh if i have provoke anyone in anyway by asking these silly questions. Any lone rangers are welcome to join me in my trip.Can meet up for one or two outings , no problem with that. I will fly to HCMC and take bus to PP and I will also be making my way to hanoi via train from hcmc (30hrs overnight sleeper) But please note I am a poor chap with limited budget so my fun can be very limited to cheap thrills. Of cos , safe thrill is of paramount importance.:)

Me only been to PP 1 time and first time last week only.
1) and 2) i dunno how to answer. No experince in that.

But 3) i think i can help u.
There are lots of hotels on Sisowath Quay facing Tonle Sap river.
Most are around the US$15-$20 range.
Clean or not, nice or not, best u walk in and find out with ur own eyes.
But for sure Flamingos and Sunway aren't the the cheaper ones.
