Don't waste time bringing newbie whom think we need their finance.

The lobster sashimi we ate in Can Tho is already V2.6m (SGD$150). Total bill came up to V4m.

Cannot believe:eek: those girls only like to eat Seafood Fried rice; while we ate all the fish; lobster; bamboo clam etc......

Newbie; guess from now you guys are on your own.

Let's not forget that we are all newbies once.

I don't believe that any newbie should just rely on any senior holding his hand to bring him to some fancy restaurants and ktvs to have a good time. In fact, the DIY section compiled by TS is a good place to start for newbie, especially when we don't know the language.

Newbie need not engage a guide nor escort services while in HCMC.
If any senior request a newbie to foot his bills in return for showing him around, the newbie must learn to say NO!!!

Instead of spending time asking for help on here, why don't you get out in the streets and start walking? Just keep your eyes open and you will be sure to find something that you like.

It's not a question of speaking the language either. I don't speak VT, but I know that money talks, so I'm not afraid to ask. Sign language and a pen and paper can work wonders for the sort of business that you want to find.

However, sitting in your hotel room, too afraid to venture out and look for yourself, is only going to get you a totally unrewarding trip.
