Overall the performance is pretty good. Some of our passing and penetration is almost fantasy level. We've yet to learn that if we don't kill teams off, the teams will kill us off instead. Gerrard is trying too hard I feel. He actually has time on several ocassions to take another touch and calming himself down before shooting. Perhaps without Torres, he feels he need to provide the goals for the team.

I'm worried our players will be burnt out in the latter stages of the season as there is less tinkering this season. Gerrard, Alonso, Kuyt, Keane Carragher, Arbeloa and Reina has played a lot of games this season already. They seemed tired at times.

Generally the match is consider one of the better match that Liverpool had played but end up losing.

Well, have to get on with it & concentrate on the next game with Atletico Madrid & qualify for the knock out stages. After that it is the bread & butter again at the EPL.

JUST A SMALL HICCUP, LIVERPOOL WILL BOUNCE BACK & SHOW EVERYONE THAT DOUBT THEM THAT THEY ARE WORTHY OF TITLE CONTENTERS.

Though disapointed we lost, in a way its good to lose also..

We dont have to bear the "the only unbeaten team" pressure..

A wake up call that we can play well but wont win unless we kill the game off..

It will also show if we have the balls and chracater to bounce back from defeats anot...

a late and debutable penalty by Steven Gerrard,late into injury time save the day for us.
really hope we can pick ourselves up and get back to winning way.
this weekend against West Bromwich Albion will be a perfect time to do it.

just like spurs game , ( love the way alonso and gerrard made those long pin-point passes )
we controlled but we get less than 3 points :)

well certainly hoping to see torres playing soon, he is out for 6 games.....and we miss his scoring touch. in the league our goal column is too thin and we are behind chelsea too much in the goal diff column......but interestingly chelsea lost this morning, not sure will this affect their league form.

agreed the penalty is debutable, but at least we tried to attack, and hopfully this penalty can push the team to perform better in the coming games.

Very close game - close to losing! A very soft penalty to be honest.

I thought the game showed our lack of firepower up front - Ngog and even Babel offered little threat up front. This was supposed to be Babel's break out season WTF!!

Agger should have had a set piece hat trick, sigh, not our day, but lucky to get a point. Let's hammer WBA Saturday!
