haizzz ... i tot it was gonna b 1 of those frustrating nites again ... which Pool played quite well, but failed to finish off d opponent ... n have to end up with no pts.

to be fair, AMD was quite superb - they defended in numbers, snuffed out Pool's attacks effectively ... their counter attacks were dangerous too.

im a Pool fan but i tot d penalty was harsh. really surprised when ref awarded. thk mayb ref pressured cos earlier on failed to award penalty for AMD handball? aiya heck lah, this season Pool seem to have some luck .. was so relieved whn captain converted ... imagine how dam very stressful it was ... in front of a huge home crowd, n probly his kick was goin to b d last 1 in d game ... if he missed, then game over liao. but he didnt disappoint. :)

as for tis wkend's game agt WBA, Pool has a tendency to play badly after an midwk Euro game ... hope it wont happen. we need Torres v badly. Pool is playing their possessive football again ... lotsa gd passing BUT our poor finishing failed to kill off our opponents. Gerrard aint havin his best scoring form this season ... Mash is def midfielder n doesnt score many ... Alonso, i like him but he's more of a playmaker n doesnt venture in d last 3rd of d field too much ... Torres injured ... Kuyt is industrious but his scoring is inconsistent ... Keane .. need i say more???

bro, u bot -1.5 har? kinda ambitious .. i thk u muz haf tot Torres was playing eh? i guess d payout for a AMD win muz b gd .. imagine hw tu lan those punters were when Gerr scored fr penalty in injur time. but on d other hand thr muz b a handful of happy investors who expected a draw.

d real surprise came fr Roma vs Chelski. didnt expect d latter to b thrashed. d payout muz b gd!

i know that when we playing with or without Torres we can win this game...
i saw the game and haiyah....we really can win the game lah... :)
if they play like shit and lost...i more hot...
but those that saw the game knew that we really can win this match so as spurs last week :D
madrid is nothin in e 1st half (except the goal) 2nd half also nothing special...
soccer like dat...
people lost $$$ on $$$ crisis nowadays...
especially side $$$ that are not use in any investments all try gambling (to recoup some $$$ back) and bookie ate happily
even Inter and Barca drew!!!! :p

Bro AM played well both in defence and attack but we should have been level long ago - Agger could have had a hat-trick!

Believe the penalty was signalled by the linesman, although I can't believe he apologised to the defender afterwards! Yes a soft penalty but what character Stevie has shown with the penalty kick ;)

Not a bad result in perspective - Chelsea lost, Scum and Arse both drew, and we still joint top in the group. Our performance was good if not the finishing, we still moving and passing OK.

as pool fans we knw d team too well liao. after an euro match, somehow they always struggle, underperform. good eg was d home game agt stoke. tis was after a midwk euro match. pool of cos were outright favs but cocked up with a draw, missing so many chances.

i thk WBA were likely adopt d same ah kua defensive tactics as stoke. pack their defence n frustrate d host. hopefully Torres return n give Pool d extra edge which we had been lacking in past matches.

hope yr AOS prediction will cum true. my optimistic prediction is 2-0, pessimistic prediction is 1-0 (may struggle to hold on to d lead). as a pool fan i'm biased; i dun thk pool will draw tis game. :D

bro dun bet on that...its been a long time since Pool has registered a high margin score line....i think the highest i ever remembered was a 7-0 score line in the 70s against...of all teams...the team we lost to last weekend...Spurs...:(

if you noticed Liverpool always has a hard time against lower rank teams simply because of the defensive tactics they employed...and Pool is not very creative when it comes to breaking down such teams....well I hope that this time they can prove me wrong..
