TORRES AND AURELIO INJURY VERDICTS

The thought in my mind is - why did Torres complete the match then? Sigh.

dun like to sound pessismistic but chances of Pool cocking up again agt West Ham is quite high, esp after mid wk ECL forays n Torres expected to be out. we cant rely on Stevie too often. Hope d other players will rise to d occasion.

tempted to place a bet on MU to beat ManC tomorr. Odds of 1.75 looks pretty good. altho im anti MU, but juz feel ManC is over-rated n MU far too superior in terms of quality. was thkg, even if i lose my bet, then at least consolation MU drop 2 or 3 pts. :D

ok, mai hot... but did we watch the same game??? maybe my tv is 42 inch (not haolian hor...), so can bloody see his pouty face!!! reminded me of anelka... and he wasnt communicating much with his teammates except for gerrard. slightly missed through pass, he showed his face, not even bothering to chase defenders down.

if he was injured, which was confirmed later, then he should have come off and let the energizer bunny take over. i m sure robbie keane would gladly defend from the front, so that the marseille defenders wont have time to pass well into midfield. call me an old-fashioned fan, but if i see torres' face still like that, i'll be happy to see robbie keane having an extended run in the first team. i would rather see the team work hard and struggle than to see torres pissing people off with his disinterested face. i m quite sure he didnt only piss me off, some of his teammates would be too... ok, mai hot...:p

Feed your kid, that doesn't sound very old leh. Maybe we same age or even I older than you
i dont wish that u r my age, cos i married late... when the time comes for me to retire, my son would be going for his tertiary studies... which translates to me having to continue working.:(

maybe he was feeling the heat of losing his place in the first team. hmm... did he injure himself playing in a spain friendly or qualifier???

Heh, bro it was the same Marseille game. I was saying to my friend, Torres is beginning to seem like another Ryan Giggs injury wise when Giggs was young.

It's really a worry. We aren't scoring as many goals as last season and Keano is still settling in while Babel and Gogg are not yet ready.

bro dun bet on MU to beat MC....MC always raised their level to play against MU...and i can see they have real good players in Ireland, Elano, Robinho and now that Shaun Philips in back in the fold...it wouldn't be that easy for MU this time round...

thks for yr advice bro. i thk general sentiments r on a manu win. i havent bot yet. today odds down to 1.68 liao (fr 1.75). sianzzz. okies later c how it goes. if ManC can nullify Ron, they stand a gd chance for an upset.

Yes this will be a good chance to have any advantage over the rest of the season games..thus the season ahead will roughly be in our own hands..

It is a good chance but never see Pool grasp this opportunity like that b4.
Coz they seem to lose to team lower than them quite often, sad but true.
Losing Torres to another Hamstring injury can be quite devatasting coz the current strike force is not up to par.
Keane is still a big disappointment...Another "Harry Kewell"?
Seem like Stevie G needs to step up again.....
Hope they can win tonite.

Remember the last few seasons when we somehow performed very well in the Champions League but played poorly in the Premier League? Just tell the team we are playing in the Champions League against West Ham and all will be fine. Wah Lau, weekday morning at 4 am, feels like a Champions League match already.

It's great that Chelsea lost at home AGAIN! I think their fortress mentality at Stamford Bridge is slowly evaporating. Teams will go there knowing they are slug it out for a result. That can only be good news for us.

I went to SITEX yesterday and saw that Starhub is offering a 3 in 1 package for 2MB Maxonline, Phone Line, Cable TV (plus unlimited free demand-online movies) for less than $40 per month. It's very similar to what Singtel's Mio TV is offering.

The reason why I spoke abt the Starhub offer is because I remember next season, in order to watch Champion's League, we will need to get Mio right? Is it possible for us to watch Premier League matches live on Singtel's Mio TV now? Any of you guys switched over to Singtel's Mio?

arse-anal has done us a slight favour now, hopefully we don't screw up against the Hammers.
