Reports link Liverpool with £500m takeover
Moves to sell Liverpool to one of Kuwait's richest families have been prompted by the need of the club's American owners to find a buyer by July.

They have been actively searching for a new owner for months, but it is understood have been made aware that the Royal Bank of Scotland will not refinance the original loan in the summer.

to hell with gillet n hicks ... a respectable club like Liverpool with a rich history certainly deserves much more ... hopefully d new owner will not treat pool like a business commodity, pump in cash n do more to purchase new talents juz like d ManCity owners ... another 1 or 2 big star signings will suffice for Pool. Give us a Messi n Kaka, we can surely give manure a tough fight next season!

Taking over by a rich company or family is good. Gives ample cash but should not be abused by buying in a team of superstars or galaticos. Both Messi and Kaka are quite similar, one or the other is good enough. We need more good people on the flanks. Having Babel only is not enough.

How about a loan deal from Madrid for Saviola? We do need more potent strikers to find off the chances.

now buying, will be held to ransom by those clubs' selling their players.
but if not too expensive (less than 5 mil) ,then it should be alright.

hope we can beat Everton, tonight to celebrate the Year of Ox 2009.

Wish All Here Good Health and Abundance Of Wealth Throughout 2009 !

A disappointing draw again for Liverpool.
Miss the opportunity to beat Everton at Anfield, will have to reply the tie again.
More fixtures congestion for them.

hai what it with Liverpool....the last few games played late for them and early for us, have not produced any positive results...since beating Newcastle, all the early hour matches ended in draw...knn bo jiak peng buay zhao ah...:mad

Babel was a absolute disappointment, never made an impact at all...and Torres ever since returning from injury....looks to have lost a bit of his sharpness and speed..i reckon my man of the match for Liverpool is Martin Skertel...he was huffing and puffing the whole night breaking down Everton attacks and intercepting their passes...

Bro, don't forget that flick by Torres to get the ball into Stevie's path. That's world class. He will need time to get back his sharpness, give him time.

To be honest, if we cant win, I rather we lose and get knocked out...

Extra matches will just cause more fatigue to the team...

I rather we fully focus on the league..
We can dont win FA Cup, League Cup or Champions League,
but I want the BPL Championship badly!!!!!!!!!! :p:D

once again, SG bailed us out agt Ever with that superbly taken goal, matched by an even more superb pass fr Torres. we cant depend on captain to rescue us all d time!

wonder what if 1 day SG gets (touch wood!) injured long term or get a few mths jail sentence, what will happen to Pool??? will we crumble? or will we become stronger?? i remembrd there was this period this season which SG was injured for a few games n Pool did very impressively. not sure if they got max pts or near max.

I support the Reds, but I really hate 2 see the way they played in the last few games.
I totally agree with some bros,if we kannot win the FA cup game against the Blue 1/2 of Liverpool we shouldn't hv drawn it & force another game in2 their game calendar.
I would prefer they lost the game against Everton,& concentrate on UCL or more importantly the EPL.
I m keeping my fingers crossed, but don't knw whether i k see the glory finish we hv been looking 4ward 2 so long.:o

Wah lau bro, if football can be played with hindsight, then no need for supporters already. It's strange that some fans are becoming more Rafaesque than Rafa himself!

The ball is round, you never know where it will run to and stop.

I firmly believe that if we win the league this year (and that's a big IF to be very honest), it won't be without a lot of nail biting and hair tearing. ;)
