Do u know how many cs she needs to serve to get dat amount? I dunno, from wat i read, somehow i think u are making use of her as u know she has fallen for u. I dunno u heard of this or not. Dun use wl's money or else dat will be bad karma. U hv family, i bet u do not wan anything to happen to them. Leave karma aside. Funnily, coincidentally, whatever, your scenario sounds familiar... I was in similar shit many years back. Debts running into several hundred Ks, pay not enough, gambling, wrong investment plays, blah-blah-blah... This went on for quite a long while and like you, was entertaining thoughts of shortening my crappy lifespan.

As luck would have it, I met an old friend who lend a BIG hand with the money woes. Another said she can help to borrow from her friend but I refuse, not knowing what kind of friends she has, if you get the drift... Even then, it took me almost 2 years to get my life back. Yes, family and personal life both suffered, most times silently.

Now, back to you. If your backside-itchy scenario rings true, just like mine, and if you are sincere in seeking advice and get back in shape, these are my 2 cents worth of guidance...

1) Ditch the WL. Your biggest problem is $$$. Don't let her complicate matters. You don't love your wife, you want to marry the WL, blah-blah-blah... all these aren't important.

CLEAR YOUR DEBTS FIRST!

You are not in a position to get involve emotionally. Once you upgrade to the emotional level with the WL, good luck and sayonara to you!

I'm serious. Like I said, I was in a similar tight spot. She wanted to help but I rejected outright. So you have to be very clear of mind what your priority is now!

2) Ah Long loans. If you still have them, clear them 1st. You know what all these Ah Longs are capable of, especially since you yourself admitted that you throw in your lot with such company.

3) After Ah Long loans, clear off the high-interest financial loans first, if you have any such arrangements.

Talk to CCS (Credit Counselling Singapore). If I'm not wrong, they can even help you to talk to the financial institutions to arrange for reduction in interest payments and longer repayment periods.

The banks also do not want to be saddled with bad loans, if they can help it. So they may just compromise and accept less interest payments if you ask nicely.

4) Of course, STOP ALL GAMBLING! You are basically not in a position to do that anymore. Like I said, be clear abt your priorities now.

5) Besides stopping gambling, you just have to stop spending unnecessarily, what with the visits to hang flower joints (which I hear can be addictive and make you spend thousands of dollars), paid sex, visit to movies with WLs blah-blah-blah...

Don't forget, you have borrowed so much, even from your parents' friends and relatives, you have a very young child and family to support and you have not been giving your parents money for years! Instead, they are now supporting you! Don't you have no shame? I wouldn't know where to hide man!!!

So there, my 2 cents worth. The ball is in your court now, or you can choose to kick it away... :rolleyes:

hi all bros and thanks for concern.. anyway I'm hopeless.. yesterday with only 60bucks in pocket can lose 10k after drinking.. bluff family and loan shark money.. they will find me but I definitely wont give my address .. so family members wont get affect if cant pay..

I just meet the wl and back home.. she already very tired and still accompany me talk .. she agreed that I can hole on to her money till ah long cleared..

You are probably similiar to someone I used to know during my younger days., He is a bro from Shanghai and he really looks like Nicholas Tse. This lucky dude goes to Cat40 houses ( in those days its not $50 yet ) and gets PAID by the girl for overnight few times a week at L18. Forgot house number.

The girl proposed to him soon enough. But this Shanghai dude preferred PRC women. He aint here now. Hes in his country and we lost contact.

Believable with benefit of doubt to u bro.

Anyway, its a taboo to borrow from a WL,FL,ML and then gamble and leave the kids and wife hungry. It cuts u off from ur prayers and things can downslide if u make any further blunders.

I think lots of us here will not be able to relate the stuffs u going through.but seeing through you thread, there is at least one thing which is obvious.

You do have Love. Be it from the Wl or parents.
N love is precious because money can't buy.
N I feel that u kinda also know that n had make use of ppl's love to tell some lies, borrow some money , get your way around.

But life, when with no money, does become clearer.
Those left behind are real friend, real ppl that love u.
Which u might had take it for granted during your better days..
So don't you think , for them , it's time to truly, deeply, start waking up

I feel that your job might not be able to be that clear conscious or has a lot of bad influences to easily think straight. But u need to have the strength, to see what's right, know what's right even when u are in the darkest evil place.
