All open-up countries will evolve and grow with time. When the scene gets overcrowded with hungry wolves > available meat , its time to pack and search for a new place. :)

Just enjoy while you can and prices will nvr stay the same. I will be there in pp ,probably in late March. If someone is interested ,drop me a pm. Pls noted that I'm on a shoe string budget. Just to make sure my dollar can stretch longer.

My interests would be going for massage,ktv(if there are a few ppl). Erm, I don't quite like the idea of going to Bars for pick up. lol maybe I'm not too confident of how I look. :eek:

Yes. it has a KTV and the girls can be tapau. The casino has been around for years and originally operated on a cruise ship as the Cambodian law has yet to be amended to legalise gambling establishment under special condition at that time. in 2007, the casino main building is given a major facelift and a KTV was in operation when I was there. not sure whether they incorporate a spa at the later stage but the common Chinese type of spa with sauna and steam room is not popular in Cambodia. One word of advice. Prices at the in-house KTV are significantly higher than the other KTVs that cater to Sino-Asian foreigners in Phnom Penh but the girls' quality are not significantly better. You can find the same-quality and probably the exact same girls in other relatively cheaper KTV outside.

Girls who work for Phnom Penh KTVs that cater for Sino-Asian foreigners all come from the same sizable group that rotate their workplace frequently at their will and fancy. KTV girls in PP are not contractually bound or tied to any outlet or mamasan and they are free to work whenever and wherever they like.

never been there. googled it and found it is on st. 278, which is rather near to where I used to stay. from the way the logo is designed and prominence of the Cambodian words on top, I would say this is one of the numerous medium KTVs in Phnom Penh that cater to local Cambodians. Prices at such KTV are almost the same as KTVs catering to Sino-Asian foreigners like 99 Club, Mega or it could be slightly higher, depending on how well-equipped and renovated the outlet is. In general, prices in KTVs for locals are not really value-for-money from the point of view of most foreigners. Prices of drinks are same or higher AND the PR girls are unlikely to be able to speak any language other than Khmer (Cambodian). such KTVs cater to locals and you will have a hard time communicating with the managers, mamasans, girls without knowing the language. And overnight booking at such KTVs are subject to the wishes of the girls. If you got a Cambodian friend and want to experience the local KTV scene, it is worth checking out and you may get lucky. Or else, stick to the tried and tested 99 Club, Casa, Shanghai (not sure of current status).. etc

Heard Naga is pretty "dirty" as in haunted..

Some viet girls told me they have seen those dirty stuffs before in some rooms. Recently a dude from Singapore also jumped off the building for no reason.

If you can, arrange for a taxi and go to Kampong Som. But you should go in a group with a few guys, for safety. About 3 hours drive. Stay the night there. Khmer girls in the joints there much better.
