but usually give it a pass cos got window no view
then I knida recalled so far most hcm hotel I stayed no good view :D
so this time will likely book blue diamond

I stayed at blue diamond last week.
Its spacious but the desk quoted me usd 15 if i want to bring girl in after 9pm.
So best to clarify before u book

For good views, forget abt CBT, Bui Vien or PNL area.

Go straight to Dong Khoi. Nhat Ha 3 as mentioned above has a pretty good view from their Skybar for that price range. The Saigon bar at Caravelle hotel is also not bad - very historical as the US journalists in those days report about the war in SGN from there. U can go there for drinks even if u r not hotel guest. Park Hyatt also has pretty good view.

I am planning a trip to vietnam, i am worry of head lice too but would like to try motorbike taxi. When carry own helmet on board flight, is it a must to check in the helmet? or can we hang carry it on board flight? Many thanks:)

i am planning my virgin trip to vietnam. I will focus on trip in southern vietnam. Places i consider are hcm, can tho, rach gia, phu quoc.....thanks to mutant chicken have give alot of good info about how things work in hcm....

Can tho city got fun bor?

Only risk is u pay usd 15.
Suggest u email them to get confirmation if u have enuff lead time.
I was quite pissed altho they r 3 star but do this when i wanted to bring a gal back
Alternatively if u can speak enuff tv..they might let u off.

I remember this address as Tan Hoa Ngoc Hotel formerly. The rate is USD$30-35..... The night shift bellboy will ask u wanna gal for overnight if u are alone :D

Yes, wearing helmet is wearing insurance...actually condom is called "bao cao su"...also other type of insurance...:)

no dun need check in...I had seen Viets bringing their "mu bao hiem" on board and just put up in the overhead luggage compartment....:)

you can read our Can Tho experiences by searching the keyword "Can Tho"...definitely have fun in Can Tho if you knew how to find and speak...:)

for other cities, I will recommend you to read this...:)

sometime this year, I will revisit some of the cities again like Rach Gia, Ha Tien and Chau Doc...will skip the boring Phu Quoc unless you go holiday with a gal...:)

Ya, I am not surprised as the hotels change names/mgmt quite fast. Also the bellboys or male staff working in the night shift, they get commission from selling gals so if u bring your own, they earn nothing.

last trip...a local friend brought me to NCT and nego with a motorbike gal...250k per shot...mini hotel 60k at Q10...the gal cannot tell if pretty because wearing face mask...her friend came and was really ugly...so just went thru the motion...haha...what an experience...include condom...all done ie. bj and fj within a few minutes...:)

Total - 310k which is S$20.00
