I think hotel 89 got bathtub, cant really remember, but price sure much lower than your buget. Buy voucher from kaha travel counter, even cheaper. room clean. Also near indo thai. For taxi charges, u are rite, normally 200k to 300k per day. But better dont tell the driver that we book him for the day, just tell him, when we need to go out then we call him. Coz for me, normally i pay my driver bbase on nos. Of trip and place i go. Short distance, i count as 20k and long distance, i count as 30k, so end of the trip when i going back, i will count and add togther then pay him one shot. Normally for just one day, it will sure be less than 250k.. Just share how i pay my driver...

bros.. i going batam next week.. just wanna ask.. any hotel that is near the nagoya shopping mall and also the "fun" places.. =) and any joints to intro to find good lobang? but most impt is the hotel location... can jalan jalan those joint and oso shopping in the morning/afternoon. thanks in advnace

btw i was wondering is Harmoni hotel good? and the nearby areas got anythings to do anot?

Hotels that are near to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall are The Hills, Nagoya Plasa Hotel, Formosa Hotel and i Hotel.

So far i stayed at Hotel Utama, Hotel 89, Hotel Gloris, Hotel Formosa.

Hotel Utama. Location far end but i like the hotel. Very clean and NO kecoas. Free breakfast for 2.

Hotel 89. Location not bad. Comforter not so good. Very uncomfortable. Good thing abt this hotel is got gym, salon and massage at one of the floors. I'll think abt it if i wan to stay again. Free breakfast for 2.

Hotel Gloris. Worst hotel i ever stayed. Got mosquitos. The toilet very dirty and eerie. Got mosquitos hanging at the ceiling some more. That was my last stay and i will remember forever.

Hotel Formosa. The room not bad. Room was clean and no kecoa. It was raining when i go out to the lift landing lobby. Then i saw 3 kecoas running here and there. I manage to step 1 piece only as the other 2 run away. Given a choice i think i might stay again in Formosa. Free Breakfast for 2.

My next target is The Hills or Nagoya Plasa Hotel.

Another thing abt Utama....std room window facing next bldg/wall.

As for formosa some rooms no windows.

H89, some std room oso no windows.

Harris Hotel is located in teluk senimba or popularly known as Waterfront City. It's probably 30 mins ride by car from Nagoya. Most of us, the cheongsters will prefer to stay at Nagoya areas :D

Those days when Indo was chaotic, used to stay at Harmony and Melia. Rupiah was like 8000 to 9000. Real cheap. And the rooms sure beat Formosa hands down..:D

talking abt goyang, the seller in BWS, the one sitting at the row of long wall table just outside the ladies. That iindo cina, for one yr plus, everynite see him sitting at same spot, i also always sitting 3 chairs away from him, he do his own things, i do my own things, of course different things lah.. Best part we see each other everynite for a yr plus, we seem like know each other, but never talk before for that one yr plus..

Taxi fare, hard to gauge because here are all 霸王车 like what you said. Meter policy doesn't work and the related authorities pocket full full.

Massage 82 crazy one. That one is not a massage joint lah..To be exact, can opt for massage. That price is more for short time. Booking/ LT is double the short time price. That mean 450k for ST, booking = 900k! Yeap, the botak is crazy! :o

Yeap, in front of the harmoni hotel. Can ask taxi driver to get off there, and later take ojek or even van/metrotrans to your destinated hotel, which I believe most of them within short working distance.

Harmoni not bad. An elite hotel with stars and joints are within walking distance. Behind got massage, take note win's spa only for couple, single guy...except "maybe" gays couple is accepted? Take your pick. Walk across the street got Gold Bird & Jungle. At night can go "No name" find FLs or walk a bit to planet (not recommended), better go pacific see the "real" disco! If not, just make a walk just the street behind (where massage are), at night very happening (mostly white guys there).

Personally will not recommend Nagoya plasa. Got bathtub if I am not wrong. However, the deco is a bit...and also this is more a muslim hotel....so a bit weird to bring gals back (not that can't but..you know...). Anyway, that's just me.
