Just wanna provide some info on taking mini bus from victory monument. I was there looking for the right counter but was given the round about by the thai operators but nvm, I did managed to reached the right counter, it was actually a pretty decent shop lot. Ticket cost B100 and are pre-numbered by batches. Eg batch 18 would contained exactly the number of seats in that particular van. A coordinator will shout out the batch number when the minibus is ready. And here's the trick, try not to take the minibus on Saturday morning, it's jammed packed, even thought if u have a tic u are assured of a seat it may not b a pleasant one, cos I noticed once the coordinator announces the batch number all the Thais will rushed to have the tix collected and then rush to chop the best seat. And silly me taking my own time was left with the back row. It was too uncomfortable for me, so I decided to alight after less than 50m.

Next tym, try weekdays, and try standing at the entrance facing in, and be alert. Once batch number called, shaft the tix in front of the coordinator face and do a 100m dash to the bus. Pick the best seat and enjoy the journey.

As for me, I go patt next trip.
