The black jersey is dangerous to wear and cross the road. :p

Anyway, if you guys had bought the new away jersey via the liverpool website last month, it comes with a towel and a small ball free. The towel is quite nice but the small ball is useless for me. Plus got shipping charges. The jersey should be available in Queensway (try Weston as the owner is a liverpool fan, just look at the 1987 grey jersey he keeps behind his counter), Peninsular beside escalator (Mr Dahlani will carry) or through the Liverpool Fan Club's shop.

Actually i feel our current squad is good enough to win the title IF our key players remain fit for at least 80% of the season. I tink torres played only 60% last season. Our main problem was too many draws. If we had 3 of those draws to victories, we would ve won.

Wat i mean to say is that we more or less have a winning team (its not perfect of course) and i would be perfectly happy to let this team continue to gel and play better as a unit in the coming season. Players like riera, benayoun, kuyt may not be superstars like kaka or ronaldo but they get the job done and they're hardworking. They dun throw tantrums when things are not going their way. They just keep trying. We need this type of "value for money players", not prima donas. Then we have semi-superstars like mascherano and alonso who are very important to allow/support/facilitate our 2 world class superstars gerard and torres to do their thing. The only player i really dislike is lucas (but rafa is in love with him).

Imagine if rafa brings in 2 new players in each department, then the whole team will have to re-learn how to play together again. Not all players will be like torres who could immediately adapt to the team. In fact very few can. Just ask berbatov. And even if, say, we bring in Arshavin or even david villa then what? Gerrard is now playing 2nd striker and they are 4 others behind him. So if we field torres & villa up front then gerrard will fall back to central midfield which means either alonso or mascherano will have to give way (of cos i m assuming alonso is still around) neither of which will be happy to do so. Same if we had bought barry and either mascerano or alonso gave way. We would have been making a like for like exchange. Like selling a honda city to get a toyota vios. They're different, but ultimately in the same banding. In fact i tink barry is not as good as alonso or mascherano. So we didn't lose out not securing barry but we will lose out if alonso leaves.

Maybe our reserves have been less than good (but i guess dats why they're reserves). When things are not working and rafa sends babel, ngog, el-zhar etc on the field, it usually changes nothing - we have no super subs.

Don't buy for the sake of buying & if it aint broke, dun fix it. U get my drift.

i'll be happy with the signing of Silva, but not Tuncay, plus a defensive cover replacing Hyypia.... ...
no doubt, Tuncay is a decent player, but he must not be our MAJOR signing this summer...
got a feeling tat rafa is working hard behind scene to bring Silva to anfield...

let's wait for teh good new...

Quiz time: Who is the guy on the left side of the photo with a green band around his head? This photo was taken on the night of our Champions League victory in Istanbul in 2005. :D

That's Anthony Le Tallec.

Honestly I am not sad about this news...

In fact all along I never felt that we need Villa at Anfield..
Rather use the money to boost up other areas! :D

David Villa is too expensive, maybe can try to sign Daniel Guiza. :)

Sorry guys, it could be Le Tallec. I asked about the wrong person. Should be asking about the guy behind Biscan.

Guys, the attached photo is our official victory photo. You will see 19 year old Lee Dames. He was a former Tranmere Rovers trainee. He gatecrashed the official photo taking session by grabbing a tracksuit from a steward and a jacket from the deserted dug-out. The dug-out is deserted because everyone rushed out to hug Dudek after he saved the last penalty.

Amazingly, Lee Dames was only discovered and ushered away when he asked Gerrard to pass him the cup. No one discovered he is an 'Alien' cos everyone is busy celebrating.

Anyway, here's the story. I've found a link from BBC. Credible enough right? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/funn...me/4587981.stm Interesting right?

haha yes this is a true story.
It was reported on many Liverpool forums after the cup final.
What an incredible feeling for any fan to be in his shoes!
