Man City spent $17 million pounds to buy Santa Cruz, a proven striker. We spent $18 million pounds to buy a proven right back. I always thought good strikers cost more than good defenders. Damn, last time when i was young, I must have used the wrong strategy in Championship Manager. :p

Real bidded $38 million pounds for Arbeloa and Mascherano? I wonder if Rafa will sell. The transfer rumours are getting interesting.

Think high chances they will be sold as their hearts are no longer in anfield...
Also got GJ as replacement for arbeloa..
Just hopes tat alonso will stay.. (How to replace mascherano)..

Look more like a great anfield sales coming up, so many clubs targeting our players ..
no tks to the 2 donkeys (buyers for these 2 donkeys are strongly welcum)..

very positive news.

This transfer season has been a true testament of how much we, as a club, have improved on the pitch.
Pundits are always quick to add how only Gerrard and Torres would be wanted by big clubs. Now even our right back is being linked to a big club like Real!!!
Our players must be doing the right thing and credit to Rafa.

Why is there talk among us about Mascherano wanting to leave or his heart not with Liverpool?? :eek:

I have yet to see any signs that he is not interested in playing at Anfield..

You mean just because he is stopid enough to argue with refs during games as to get sent off is not commited? :rolleyes:

And the BIG IRONY is that the tabloids, papers, fellow football fans ALWAYS say this----

Which of the liverpool players will be in the starting 11 of other TOP teams? ie Manure, Real Madrid, etc etc..

THe answer is alot of players will be coveted... Such rumours only confirm the fact that our team is getting better , therefore sooo much attention :p

btw, always feel tat the press r always baised agst us... like to take news out of context from player's interview...

actually, like to see players with more passion and be more agressive...
got to bully the refs a bit.. see man utd, cheskis, arsenal are bullying ref and get many decisions going in their way...
but of cos not to the extend of getting themselves sent off or behaving like cheski at cl semi-final lar...
