Yes but there is a caveat that is not often mentioned. This is not across the board and is applicable only to selected (read: expensive) projects. But then again, it's a good start.

With the implementation of AEC (similar to EU) in Dec, expect to see more changes like lifting of visa-period requirements for Asean member countries and so on.

I went in and out of HCMC a few times within 30 days, so far no problem.

yes...but property sales money usually will be hold for a certain period before release...and you need to declare all these profits to pay all your taxes before final repatriation...laws may change...now they want foreigners to buy not to sell...they want foreigners funds not to repatriate....:)

just like Malaysia or JB...if you sell any property gahmen hold for 6 months...before release to you...:)

the above is IMHO...I am not absolutely correct...pls check with Vn lawyers for final answer...pls skip if dun like to read...:)

Thank you for the information. Guess all Singapore passports will not have problem leaving and entering Vietnam as often as we can even within 30 days period of leaving.

Much appreciation for the replies.

Having already researched property investment by foreigners in various SE Asian countries, I would suggest anybody seriously thinking about investing in such to consult professionals...... But NOT just to follow their advice blindly, and instead use them to gather for you official government publications/websites in English (as the regulations apply mostly to foreigners, such English material usually available).

Too many even supposedly professionals in SE Asian countries are not only not that professional, some are even in the back pockets of others.

Just IMHO

There is a visa rule that states that Vietnam allow free visa entry for countries under visa waiver only for the first time and visitor must wait 30 days after their exit to enter Vietnam again.

For Singaporean who visit Vietnam multiple times under ASEAN visa exemption rule, does the 30 days gap applies. Appreciate any help from experts here.

Per visit of 30days and subject to not more than 182 days per calendar year. I used to go Cambodia every month to extend my visit another. If you kiasi then go apply the 3 months multiple entries visa.
Sometimes airport immigration officer need money then they will find all sorts of excuses to get a few bucks from u. New year time I kanna asked for lixi. But I act blur and stand there. The officer give up. Stamp my passport and I faster walk off.

I dun think there is this "182 days" policy on this or maybe I am lucky. I had stayed in Hanoi for about 2.5 years and in a calendar year, I definitely stay more than 182 days, fortunately no issue getting in and out of Vietnam. From what I know "182 days" is more for income tax.
