a great performance by Yossi too. hope he starts more often.

overall a gd team effort, every1 contributed unlike d last game. young ayala looked kan chiong @ times but i thk we ought to give him more chances else he wont improve.

i was switching channels n was so happy our great rivals lost! spurs definitely is a team to watch out tis season. they may nt grab top 4 but they can play d spoilers' role to make life difficult for big 4.

hmmm hate to be different but though i am happy with the win and the impressive 4-0 scoreline, i felt our performance was not of a 4-0 standard, if u know what i mean. The goals themselves were good gloas but i felt overall play was quite disjointed.

Have to confess i ve never been much of a reina fan - i ve always felt that he gets great cover from the likes of carra, hyypia & gang but the last 2 games he has definitely played well making a number of good saves.

Anyway, bottom line is we won but i hope for a better, more cohesive display.

YNWA!!

For me the crucial thing was when we attacked, there was good movement, crisp passing and great chemistry. Stevie's move and Kuyt's goal are a case in point, and what a difference a few days make from the lacklustre display we churned out at Spurs (who have now won 2 in a row). We played like this much of last season and if we can continue the attacking play, I won't worry overly about our weaknesses for now. There are still people coming in either from the injury list or new buys, which will strengthen our current squad.

The disappointment over the weekend loss to Spurs is surpass by this week win and also deriving pleasure from the knowledge that scums lost 1-0 to of all team Burnley..:D

Agree with you 100%

There is still alot of room for improvement.
Torres and Kuyt still seems abit off among others.

Reina has never impressed me til the last two games as well.
His save from Delap last night was really difficult and as the commentator said, what made that save so impressive was that he managed to palm it out of danger as well while being blocked.

REDS AGREE DEAL FOR KYRGIAKOS

i like this quote from Rafa below...

Quote:

Benitez quipped: "We are at the top of the table now with 23 stitches. Carra, Torres and Skrtel. I haven't seen how many Torres has but I can guarantee you it's 10 or more."

RAFA: THAT'S WHY WE SIGNED GLEN

i dint know johnson could score goals like that.. plus the opening game display,,

if he manages to keep it up and improving, he will make himself a very important player of the team. :D

and of coz nothing beats seeing those idiots blow a defeat,, i feel another team is going to win the BPL this year. it may not be us, but i cant see the dirtbags winning it again

Yes damn shoik to see them lose to Burnley!!!

But what apply to us will apply to them, that losing a game dont mean the season is over...
Hate to say so but Manure will be there towards the end but isnt it sweeter for us when we kick their ass in the end and claim the league title #19? :D

Dun be too happy leh..... we may also slip up in our game with Burnley :(
I have looked through their matches for the past 2 years........ they seem to "perform" superbly whenever they play against the top teams...... they have done many giant killer upsets :)

Actually, I wished that Man U didn't lose to Burnley. Their squad is obviously weakened by the departures of Ronaldo and Tevez. I wish their lack of strength and depth will only show AFTER the transfer window is closed. Then they can't do anything even if they wanted to.

The main difference here is the availability of funds. Manure have funds to spend but they haven't done so. We wanted to spend but the 2 Yankees went back on their word. He who laughs last laughs best. I just wish Manure will not improve their squad anymore.
