But what apply to us will apply to them, that losing a game dont mean the season is over...
Hate to say so but Manure will be there towards the end but isnt it sweeter for us when we kick their ass in the end and claim the league title #19? :D

happy to see them lose...

but dun be carried away, they r traditionally slow starter and damn strong run-in towards end of season...

well... losing to spurs is not as bad as losing to burnley..
. :p:p:p....

Dun be too happy leh..... we may also slip up in our game with Burnley :(
I have looked through their matches for the past 2 years........ they seem to "perform" superbly whenever they play against the top teams...... they have done many giant killer upsets :)

Yep its normal that when smaller teams meet bigger teams they raise their game automatically. Conversely there are times when big teams meet small teams, they just can't do it. Liverpool could thrash real madrid and man u last year but couldn't score a single goal against stoke both home and away.

Hope they dun slip up this time. I believe that they have learnt ther lesson last season. The only way to win EPL is to win every match.

thats y u guys lost the league,if u guys had beaten them home n away u guys wld have won the league on goal difference.rememeber u guys lost at burnley in the f.a.cup in 2005.there r no easy games in the premiership.in saying that i think u guys have a veri gd side on limited budget.

Why? Let them waste another 30m on a flop heheheh.

Thought Riera is injured. That's why Babel and Benayoun started in the 2 games so far. I actually think Benayoun is best in the Gerrard role and not on the wings. Benayoun can twist and turn to find spaces amongst defenders very well. If he can slip a short pass for Torres to latch on, he would be extremely effective.

If that happens, all of us will rejoice. :D But they do get it right quite often in their transfer dealings. Just don't wish to see their squad being strengthened in this transfer window any further.

The main difference here is the availability of funds. Manure have funds to spend but they haven't done so. We wanted to spend but the 2 Yankees went back on their word. He who laughs last laughs best. I just wish Manure will not improve their squad anymore.

Yr wish comes true ... if SAF keeps to his words ...

With a huge warchest it's strange tt scums r nt making any new signings ... unless they hv their own financial woes which r nt publicly known. :D

AURELIO BACK IN TRAINING

NEWS STORY

AURELIO BACK IN TRAINING
James Carroll at Melwood 22 August 2009

Rafa Benitez today confirmed Brazilian full-back Fabio Aurelio has resumed training at Melwood.
The 29-year-old has missed the start of the 2009-10 season with a knee injury sustained over the summer, but Benitez revealed the defender is edging nearer to a comeback.

The Reds boss said: "Aurelio was training yesterday. I was watching him and he did well.

"He is not training with the team, but he is working with the fitness coach and is very close. We will have to see if he has any other problems, but he is very close."
