I was in Beppu recently and went to this bigger shopping centre Youme shopping centre. While walking back to my hotel along Nagarekawa Don, came across these small side roads in Motomachi area which had a few soapland shops.

In Fukuoka, the red lightning area is within the Nakasu island just opposite Canal City shopping centre. Saw many soapland joints but did not enquire as was with my family.
