Can anyone advise what's the quickest way to get from Vientiane to Udon Thani? I was thinking to rent a van with driver to take our group (5-6 pax + golf bags and luggage) directly to UT, do they allow passenger vans / buses to travel across the border?

Yes vans in Laos are permitted to transfer golfers to play in Nong Khai/Udon and return. You could check with travel agents in Vientiane about van charters. I found that hotels charge a bit more.

Just for comparison. Zhi Jing Cheng charges 1.75 million kip for overnight. And, the girl promptly packs bag to leave by 9 am, if not wrong.

But, when I deal direct with the girls, I usually give them 1million a day. Their shopping expenses and makan I cover. :D Its also dependent on where you picked up the girl.

The girls I found at Goldstar for overnight usually just want their beer paid and (if enough rapport) they more than happy overnight. Not all girls at Goldstar are there to be laid though. Again, depends on which pond you are fishing at.
